I'm suddenly awoken by loud knocking, I run downstairs and open the front door

"Yes?" I ask opening the door

"Are you ok?" My other best friend Kat asks

"Depends" I say walking to my kitchen, Kat walks in and closes my door

"I gave Rose a peace of my mind yesterday when I saw her" Kat says cracking her knuckles

"Did you?" I ask rising my eyebrow

"Did I? Yes I did" she says bowing while giggling

"Thanks kitty" I say hugging her

"Welcome monkey" she says hugging back

"Not saying I told you so but I did tell you adding another person into our little click wasn't a good idea" she says sitting on a stool

"I know, but we really got along. I just don't know what happened" I mumble taking the toaster out and plugging it in

"She was playing you, that's what happened. She's just jealous of you, I mean look at you. You're perfect!" She says grabbing the bagels and the cream cheese

I give her a look and pop a bagel in the toaster

"I'm not perfect" I say grabbing a butter knife

The bagel pops up and I grab it and put another bagel in and I push down the little knob thing

I grab some cream cheese and spread it on the bagel giving it to Kat

"I just feel so betrayed and alone" I whisper taking a bite of the other piece of bagel

"I know monkey, I know" she says hugging me from the side using her right hand to rub my upper arm

"Can you say here for a little bit?" I ask

"Tell me why we're going to Tyler's house?" Kat says annoyed

"If you want I can drop you off" I say getting annoyed since she was the one who wanted to come with me

"You didn't answer my question" she mumbles

"He wants to talk" I reply shortly

She nods looking like she wants to says something but keeps quiet.

I pull up at Tyler's place and park the car, I turn off my car and get out walking to the front door, I knock twice and look over to see Kat scowling when Tyler opens the door

"Baby!" Tyler says pulling me into a hug I don't hug back but I don't pull away

"That's enough" Kat says separating us

"What are you her body guard?" He asks glaring at her

"Fuck yes! Get this over with!" She yells walking into the house

She could be a bit much at times.

Me and Kat follow Tyler to the living room where we sit awkwardly for a couple of minutes

"Talk" Kat says rolling her hand in circular motions

"Um I don't feel comfortable talking about it in front of you. It's a private matter" he says causing Kat to roll her eyes

"I'm going to walk around the house" she say walking up the stairs

"Talk" I say playing with my fingers

"Look everything that happened between me and Rose was a huge mistake, it all meant nothing to me" he says I see something flash from his eyes

"Really?" I ask narrowing my eyes at him
