Authors note- I didnt like the way it read so I changed a few things I'm currently trying to write a lemon for the story Smokers pov We had been chasing the strawhats for a few weeks now (Y/N) was made at me we have been fighting off and on here lately she felt I was obsessed with the strawhats and that it was placing a strain on our relationship this last fight was worse than the others she looked heartbroken when I told her I didnt care if I lived or died so long as the strawhats where captured. I guess I should go apologize to her. "(Y/n) can I come in please". When I walked in to her room I was shocked she was gone. Damn it where the hell did she go then it hit me she used to tell me about her hometown and how much she wanted to visit her home.
(Flashback) Your pov "Hey smoker we should stop by (hometown). The weather is always nice. I would always go to a cliff when I was younger to help me think or clear my head. We should stop by soon we are near my island.
Readers POV Smokers so stubborn why would he say that. If he doesn't care about his life then i wont stay here and watch him get killed. I'm going home. I cant stay here no I wont stay here. I have to be strong and leave. I can't go back to him. He will move on and probably forget about me anyway. He'll he might not even notice in gone if he hasnt caught the strawhats yet.
Time skip
Wow these 2 years have passed so fast I wonder how smokers doing. I walked up to the cliff by my house and looked out at the sea. Wait is that a navy ship what are they doing here we havent had any pirate attacks recently. Wait a second is that smoker Shit I dont want to see him I still miss him why is he here. Damn it he is looking right at me. I take off running only to feel his arms wrap around me. "(Y/n/n)" smoker whispered in my ear. "No smoker you lost the right to call me that when you decided that you didn't care if you lived or died. Please just leave me alone" I screamed at him tears running down my face."No I cant leave you alone i love you to much to let you walk out of my life im sorry I didn't realize it sooner but there is no way in hell I will let you leave me again." He said. "Damn it smoker why do you make it so hard to resist you. I really do love you but you don't care about yourself so in sorry but I can't come back. I'm not going to sit there and watch as you almost get yourself killed trying to hunt someone down." I turned my back on him as I began to walk away. The next thing i knew I was over smokers shoulder as he carried me to his ship. Put me down smoker! " I screamed. "No your coming home with me i cant live without you your the only one for me I cant promise i wont try some stupid and dangerous plan that is more then likely to get me killed but ill be damned if I ever let you go again." stated smoker. I continued to struggle trying to make him put me down only for my face to light up like a cherry when I realize he just spanked me. "Did you just spank me" my eyes were narrowed in anger he smirked. "I did and I'll do it again if you keep trying to escape
