Sasuke POV
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
My eyes fluttered open to the penetrating sound of the doorbell being rung repetitively. I turned over in my large bed, grabbing the pillow that I was previously laying on and pressing it to the other side of my face to block out the annoying noise.
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
I groaned at the noise of the bell continuously ringing. I reopened my eyes at looked to the clock hanging in between the two large windows, that presently were shut and covered by thick black curtains. The clock read two twenty-seven a.m. I groaned at the early time.
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
"Itachi!!", I called out in a strained voice, as I had just been awoken. After several minutes of no reply, I sighed and threw the covers off of my body, leaving me in my sweatpants and black t-shirt. I slightly shivered at the sudden temperature change, as it was January and it was warm under my thick covers. I swung my legs off the side of the bed and stood up. I marched to my door, throwing it open. I stepped out of my room and turned right, heading down the hallway 4 to 5 doors later I stopped in front of a door, that behind it held the room of my older brother. I balled my fist and brought it up to the door. I slammed my fist against the door several times, and quickly turned around and went back the way I came.
Ding-Dong...
Ding-Dong...
I walked past my room, now heading left of my room. I marched down the hallway and down the large staircase with little trouble in the dark. At the end of the stairs I turned left heading towards the wall beside the entrance to the library, knowing full well that the door into the main house was ahead of the stairs. Once I was close to the wall, I flicked on one of the switches, causing the chandelier above the stair case to shine on and the room was now lit.
Ding-Dong...
I marched to the tall, thick, mahogany doors, grabbing the handle and giving it a tug, but quickly realizing that the locks were still fixated on the door. I unlocked the three locks, and let out a large sigh before I tugged at the door again, and the door swung open.
"What in the world are you doing here at this ungodly hour?", I questioned without even opening my eyes. I yawned and brought my hand up to cover my mouth, as I still had morning breath.
I heard labored breathing, but soon an angelic, and familiar voice called out between pants, "Sas..uke...please..help.". My eyes sprang open and I looked at the figure standing in my doorway. It was my blonde beauty, Naruto. He was hunched over, supporting himself on the doorframe, breathing heavily, and sweating profusely. I rushed to push my arms under his, to support him on me, making him look up at me, flashing his crimson eyes at me... Wait, crimson?
"Naruto... What the hell happened to you?!". I yelled tenderly beside his head.
He huffed trying to get his breathing back to a normal pace, but had a tremendous amount of trouble doing so. He slowed his breathing down, only to ruin it by speaking and igniting the labored breathing once again, "Something's wrong...". I gave him a concerned look and nodded for him to continue. "I can't eat... I can't sleep without hearing weird noises that I've never heard before... my head is throbbing... my stomach is in knots...", he spoke softly, and after each sentence he would stop to catch his breath.
"Naruto...", I started, but before I could continue my sentence naruto let out a large scream and fell to his knees. I stood there for a moment, confused what had just happened, but soon I kneeled beside him. He was clutching his jaw, and tears were streaming down his beautiful face. I scanned his face and his body, noticing he was trembling. One hand was covering his mouth, that was in excruciating pain, and the other clutching the side of his body. I scanned his abdomen, that he was currently holding, and I noticed something large was stained on his side, and it was continuing to grow. Oh god, that's blood. I grabbed the hand that was clutching his side and pulled it away from his body, he let out a small whimper at the loss of the pressure. I lifted his shirt and noticed there was a large gash in his side, that was bleeding uncontrollably. I felt him grasp my shoulder with his, now, free hand. I looked up from his wound to see his crimson red eyes staring deep into my black ones. I looked at him with concern, and he looked at with a yearning look for help. My eyes fell slightly, it was hard to see someone I love so much crumbling. My eyes fell to his neck, that had dried blood stuck on his, not so, sun kissed skin. The blood was running from two puncture marks in the side of his neck. No... I was supposed to be the one to protect him from this life. He moved his hand from his jaw to the wounds I was studying. My eyes moved up to his jaw that he was previously covering, and what I feared had come true. His mouth was gapped open, and two sharp teeth, longing for something I know all too well.
Suddenly, he launched himself at me, and because of how shocked I was at the movement, I didn't feel that he sunk his teeth into my neck. After realizing what he was doing I held his head and spoke softly, "Naruto, my blood can't help you...". He shot back, after realizing what he was doing, and was now on his bum staring at me wide eyed. He gasped and covered his mouth with his hand. "Naruto, it's okay. You need to calm dow-", I stopped my sentence after seeing him stumble to his feet and trying to run out of the house. "Dammit... Naruto, wait!", I called out to him, I was about to chase after him, but Itachi flew past me and ran after him. I sighed, "Itachi to the rescue!", I shouted sarcastically, before I sighed loudly. I took one of my hands and raised it to my neck, running two of my fingers over the two holes in my neck. I looked up to the ceiling, 'Who did this to you, Naruto?', I thought.
How about I start from the beginning...
