**Prologue**

'She's here I can smell her' My wolf Alec chided.

'I know, I just need to find her!' I replied. I was growing anxious. What type of fur did she have? Was it brown? White? Red? Black? I wanted to kiss her and hold her. I couldn't wait until I mated her. I've been waiting for this day for so long.

I bumped my way through people in the halls as the smell of strawberries filled their way into my nose. She would be a perfect Luna. What if she had an affinity for being a pack doctor or came from Beta blood?

'Or she could be an omega.' My wolf said.

Omega, Beta, or with an affinity, I wouldn't give a damn! There's been Alpha's with omega's as mates and they're relationship have worked out.

Many werewolf's bowed their head in respect as I bumped passed them. Some of them looked at me curiously since I looked like a madman with the way I walked. I rammed through the door as I rushed outside where the scent was. My eyes scanned the area until they landed on a chestnut haired girl with green eyes that I can stare at for days. My wolf howled expressing his joy. Everything was in slow motion. Her angelic laughter filled my ears as she laughed at something her friend said. She slowly blinked up at me and visibly shuddered. I was at loss for words. She smiled and waved at me. My wolfs howls of joy were cut short. She looked at me with puzzled face as she waited for me to say hello. But I couldn't, because my mate had no affinity or alpha blood. Hell she wasn't even omega. She was something our kind were disgusted of the most.

She was human...
