Shelby's POV

"Cyd! Wait!" I yelled. She turned back and looked at me. She stood there like a statue. "Cyd, do you remember our fun together? Our memories? Our friendship?" I asked. "Only 1. But it makes me feel bad when I think about it." She said, looking down at the road. "What is it?" I asked.

Cyd's POV

Shelby asked me about my only memory with her. I remembered her telling me to go away. She yelled at me for what felt like a century. I tried to hold it in, but I couldn't. I didn't want to do it, but at the same time I did. I picked up a knife and placed it near my arm. She became less like Shelby and more like a bully. Instead of telling me to stop, she didn't care. She wouldn't care what happened to me. I saw the hatred in her eyes. She wouldn't care if I died. I didn't want her to win. I put the knife down. I wanted to run, but I didn't. I layed on my bed, thinking of my next move. Then I sat up and asked her about the future. She was in a happy mood for some reason. It freaked me out. I covered it up by saying I wanted to eat. I left to actually go eat and somewhat run away. But something hit me in the head. My dad told me that he didn't like Shelby and that he was here to take me back home. He explained the riches. His lab wasn't meant to experiment on us, it was to test our friendship. We were just afraid of the lazer that was supposedly 'harmless'. When I saw Shelby, it had been weaks of trying to forget about my past life. Then when I saw her, I barely remembered who she was. "I don't remember." I trailed off. Shelby looked at me with sad eyes. She didn't care about me before, why now? It went from not caring to kidnapping me and forcing me to remember them. "Oh..." Shelby said sadly. I didn't feel bad one bit. "I have an idea.." Shelby mumbled under her breath. "What?" I asked. She tackled me down and we teleported. "What the! Where are we?!" I said frightened. "Don't worry, we just time traveled." She tried to calm me. She told me that like that was like that was what I was used to doing. "What? How are you so calm about this!" I yelled. "We're in the past. When we met. We're in kindergarden." She said. I just sat in the tiny plastic chair. I started mumbling French that I learned from my French trainer. "Qu'est-ce qu'elle m'a fait entrer ... pourquoi at-elle me mettre dans tout cela? Je suis mort. Je vais appeler la police sur cette fille quand je reviens ... Je suis soooo mort." "Cyd?" She asked me. "What?!" I yelled, starting to go crazy. "Are you speaking french?" She asked me. "Actually, yeah, I am." I said, still going crazy. "Look, we can go back if you want." She sighed. "No, no, I'm done talking to you, you phsycopath!" I yelled. "Who takes a stranger and pretends you know them and care about them, then tells them that you can time travel and take them into a random timeline!" I yell. "Cyd wait.." She said walking up to me. "No Shelby! I'm going to do this myself." I said. "But without you, we can't time travel. None of us!" She said. "Wait, I can time travel too?" I asked in disbelief. "Only if we're together and touch eachother." She said. "Touch eachother?" I said weirded out. "I'm not touching you." I said running away.

For those of you who want to know what Cyd was mumbling, here's the translation.

What has she brought me into... why did she bring me into this? I'm so dead. I'm gonna call the police on this girl when I get back... I'm soooo dead.
