Children and young adult alike,
latching onto imaginary love,
desperate for someone to love them,
emotionally and intellectually unavailable parent(s),
selfishly looking out for themselves,
digging a deeper wound,
in turn abusing and neglecting there own,
offspring isolated in terror and fear,
crawled up in there bedroom corner,
parental authority turned to social services,
already vulnerable,
little boy or little girl withering internally,
peaking through a one by one window,
lost without hope,
weeping day and night in secrecy,
surrogate figures without collateral information,
thinking the child is trauma free,
when the young is living a nightmare,
unable to wake up from evil thoughts,
succumbing to child services way of life,
cognitive functioning deteriorating rapidly,
having to listen to the naysayers,
self-doubting reigns,
a walking contradiction,
innocence vanishing during puberty,
now an adolescent being blamed for behavior,
once free spirited,
covered to be an open book.
Will we allow politics prevent stolen lives for healing?
