"Mommy wake up! Mommy! Mom!" Adeline was jumping on me and yelling in my ear.

I quickly jumped at her, causing her to scream and laugh afterwards.

"What's up, pumpkin?" I asked, realizing I fell asleep on the couch.

"I'm hungry" Adeline whined, earning a small smile from me.

"Do you want a smoothie from that place down the street?" I asked, hoping she would say yes since I'm not really familiar with the restaurants around here, and we don't have much to make breakfast.

Adeline nodded her head up and down really fast and ran off to get ready.

I grabbed my coffee mug and laptop from last night and put the mug in the washing machine and my laptop on a charger.

I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My mascara was smeared along with my lipstick, and my hair was a mess.

I went upstairs to my room and got myself ready. I put on a tank top and shorts, and put my hair in a high ponytail.

"Mommy can you do my hair?" Adeline yelled from her bathroom. I ran over laughing and grabbed a ponytail holder from her counter top. I quickly put her hair in a high ponytail without her saying ow, and picked her up in my arms and ran downstairs.

I put on my black roshes and Adeline put on her little white vans to match her outfit. She actually dresses pretty well. She was wearing a tank top with a jean vest and leggings.

I grabbed my wallet and sunglasses while Adeline grabbed her sunglasses and I ran out the door with her hand in mine. We rushed down the hallway and to the elevator. Adeline wasted no time to press the Lobby button.

This may seem silly, but we always compete to see who can press the buttons first.

We waited for the elevator to go down and when the door opened, the rush was back. We ran out the lobby and through the doors to the busy street.

I picked Adeline up and ran through the sidewalk to the smoothie place.

When we stepped in, I heard a loud spitting noise, then a woman make a disgusted sound. I looked over to see a red smoothie all over a professional looking woman.

Her hair was in a bun and she wore a black pencil skirt with a grey button up. Her high heels matched her skirt, and her make up was perfect. I looked at the other side of her table to see a crazy looking man with a big camera around his neck, and he looked at me and Adeline in amazement.

I gave him a worried and confused look before stepping up to order.

"Tropical breeze" I said and the woman nodded before going away to make my smoothie. A few seconds later, a man took her place and I lifted Adeline onto my knee so that she could do her order. "Berry blast, please" she said and the man laughed a bit before going away to make her smoothie.

We sat down at a table, across from each other. Soon they called out our orders and I grabbed them from the counter along with two straws.

I came back to the table and gave Adeline her smoothie. My smoothie tasted really good, especially since it's extremely hot outside.

Out of nowhere, the crazy looking man that looked at us earlier sat down next to Adeline.

"Sir, if you would please get away from my child, that would be amazing" I said sternly, not wanting him that close to Adeline.

"So this IS your kid?" He said with  a mischievous smirk.

I just nodded and he got away from Adeline, pulling a chair from a table to the side of our booth.

"Ma'am, how would you and your daughter like to be on the cover of magazines?"
