I teased. She pretended to get hurt by what she said and put her hand on heart as if she got stabbed. I smirked.

Jho: Sige pa, Ate Ly. Pangalandakan mo pang hindi pa ako nagkakajowa ever in my life. Kayo na! Kayo na tumitibok ang heart.

Bea: Wag OA, Jho. You're here today, so malamang, tumitibok din puso mo. Yun nga lang, for no one.

We laughed because Bea was teasing Jho. The latter just frowned.

Jho: Naging laman ka lang ng snapchat ni Thirdy e ganyan ka na ha. Friendship over. 

At ayun na nga, nagdrama na si Jho. Pero knowing Bea na ubod ng kulit, she threw an empty ice pack at Jho just as Jho looked up. Boom! Sapul sa mukha!!!

Bea: Wooooh! Facial! BDL for trey!

Tumalon ng tumalon si Bea as if she won a championship already. She then went to me and hugged me.

Bea: Omg! Ate Ly! Ganito ba feeling ng maka facial? Omg!!! Sarap!

Hindi na ako nakaimik kasi naaninag ko ang ice pack na lumilipad papunta sa kinaroroonan namin. Kinalabit ko si Bea para humarap siya kila Jho bago ako umilag. Paglingon niya, ayun, sapul din siya sa mukha.

Jho: O ano? Sarap din ba ng feeling na mafacial, De Leon?

Nagsmirk si Jho, habang si Bea naman ngayon ang mukhang natalo sa laro. Natawa nalang kaming lahat sa kakulitan ng team. We even barely noticed our coaches, therapists and bosses looking at us on the side. Para lang talagang walang nangyari. They, too, were smiling at how childlike we were in those moments.

Hindi ko na alam kung ano pa ang sumunod na nangyari kasi nagkanda gulo gulo na sa loob ng dugout. Kung anu-ano nalang ang lumilipad at kung saan-saan nalang nagsitakbuhan ang mga teammates ko. Last thing I noticed was Amy running towards me with her sock and letting me smell it. Gosh, kadiri.

When the laughter and the craziness died down and we were back in our stations fixing our things and getting ready to leave, Sir Tony moved to the center of the room.

Sir Tony: I'm so proud of you, girls. Such brave hearts. Let's go back to the drawing board, work our asses off, and get the second game. One big fight?

I looked around the room and it seemed like everyone was up to the challenge. We'd gladly take a minor setback if it meant getting ready for a major comeback. Alam ko namang kaya namin, e. We just have to work harder, play better, and pray. I smiled at the positive attitude I see in the team. Thank God for the mantra Coach Tai had instilled in us. Now all that's left to do is to live up to it.

Lady Eagles: One Big Fight!

After that small talk, Mona approached me as I zipped my bag close. Ako kasi ang unang nakapagligpit ng mga gamit. I was already in a shirt, my jersey shorts and a pair of slippers. Yung buhok ko naman, as always, magulo.

Mona: Ly, sabay ka samin mag dinner?

I was about to say yes kasi nga wala si Kiefer and I was bound to accept the offer naman talaga. But I saw Dani peek in. She waved at me and I smiled. Nung nakita siya ni Mona, kinurot niya ako sa pisngi to get my attention.

Mona: Swerte talaga. Makabakod nga naman si manong, oo.

Ly: Ehh. Aasarin mo rin ba ako?

Mona: Oy di ha. Sinasabi ko lang. Sige na. I think your dinner is already well taken cared of.

She had that teasing tone in her voice but I got used to it by now. Noon pa lang kasi nila ako inaasar kay Kiefer but it was only recently that they somehow got what they wanted, at mas lalo lang kaming inasar.
