The Grand Festival

"Chara, are you almost ready?" Toriel asked Chara as she changed into her outfit.

"Does this look nice?" Chara asked as she showed her outfit to her mother. "Beautiful" Toriel said smiling. Meanwhile in the other room...

"Awww come on dad. Do I have to wear a suit?" Asriel asked his dad as Asgore fixed the tie on Asriel shirt. "Yes son, it's a big event, the whole underground will be there." Asgore said reassuringly.

After 5 minutes of the men changing, and 45 minutes after the women changing...

The Dreemur family started heading toward the festival.

"I hope the skeletons will be there." Chara said smiling.

"Yeah Papyrus always makes you smile. He cool." Asriel said. "Like your father said everyone will be there so surely Gaster will make them go." Toriel told her kids.

The Dreemur family had little conversations as they arrived to the festival... There were a lot of people there waiting for the royal family.

"The king is here!!!" A monster yelled as the attention shifted towards the Dreemurs.

"Howdy!" Asgore said as he escorted Toriel and his kids.

"Heres 50 gold for each of you. Don't get in trouble and have fun." Toriel said handing them the gold. The kids ran into the crowds.

Asriel and Chara instantly ran to the festival games with their gold. They ran to the strength hammer and stood in line.

"5 gold!!! 5 gold!!! The high score is 245!!! 5 gold!!!" The monster announcer for the game yelled alloud.

"Oh look, Sans!!! It's the prince and the human!" Papyrus yelled as he ran to the kids. "Hold up Paps." Sans said walking after him.

"It's almost my turn!" Asriel said rolling up his sleeves on his suit.

"It's can't believe Dad made you wear a suit, you look like a dork." Chara said poking fun at Asriel. Asriel was going to reply until he saw Papyrus in the distance. "Oh hey its paps." Chara said pointing.

"Hey human, is the prince going to try the strength hammer?!?" Papyrus said panting from running.

"Hell yeah" Asriel said as he was next.

"Nyaaaahhhhh" Yelled the person in front of Asriel hitting the pressure pad with the hammer.

"565!!! That's the highest score today!!!" The announcer yelled as he shook hands with the monster. The monster than walked past Asriel, Chara, and Papyrus.

"Oh hey Undyne!" Papyrus said waving at Undyne- (the monster with the strength hammer high score)

"It's your turn goat boy punk" Undyne said as she 'gently' shoved Asriel toward the hammer.

Chara and Papyrus cheer as Asriel shuffles up to the podium. Asriel was actually nervous when he went up to the hammer.

"Heh heh. I Uhm heh." Asriel said putting his hand on the hammer.

"Next up is the prince himself!!!" The announcer yelled.

In Asriel's head - "you can do this, you can do this, just breath in and out. In and out."

Asriel picked up the hammer and slammed it on the pad.

"260!!!" The announcer said.

"Heh heh." Asriel said blushing, he walked to the side and sat down.

"Oh wow, that's rough" Sans said as he barely walked toward the group.

"It's okay Prince." Papyrus said reassuringly. "You looked so dumb" Chara said laughing. Undyne patted him on the back and laughed.
