As i lined up in the playground waiting to go into class i started worrying, i hadn't done my homework, my mummy thought i had but i didnt want to so i lied to her. It was my 8th birthday this weekend so I'd kind of forgotten.
As i walked into the classroom, i veered away from the queue to the teacher.
"um, i dont have my homework, it was my sisters fault, i finished it and then she spilt water all over it." i said nervously.
"its alright, i believe you, dont worry about it." Miss Heron said kindly.
I smiled and walked off.
