Chapter 1

I woke up early this morning and head to the kitchen after washing up. Eomma was already awake and preparing breakfast for us. "Morning baby~" eomma called and I answered back, "Morning eomma!" I went near to her and gave her a pack on her cheek.

"What's for breakfast today?" I ask eomma as I place myself seated at the dining table. "Pancake. Is your dad awake yet?" she asked back. "No. I still hear his snoring outside the room." I smiled as eomma place a plate of pancakes in front of me. She unties her apron and sat it on the table while she walks past to get dad up.

I started eating and I already put on my own clothes for school. Yes, I am in school, first year of college. I'm born in 1998, 18 years old and I have a brother who is an idol now. His group is really popular and gosh, they are spreading their popularity all over the world.

"Eun ah! Get here and help me to wake you dad up!" eomma shouted and I flinched a bit. I put in the piece of pancake in my mouth and head to the master bedroom to wake my dad. I turn right and saw eomma standing in front of the bed with her hands crossed. I went near to dad at the side of the bed and shook his shoulder lightly. "Appa, it's time to wake up." I call softly. He moved a little and opens his eyes a little. "Oh. Eun ah, I'll wake up in a bit." He said in his dreamy state. Eomma came near and whisper in his ear while I take a step back to let her go near. "In 5 minutes if you're not up, you're going to be late and I won't help you with what I promise you." My dad bounced up upon hearing that and immediately rushes to the washroom.

I laugh lightly and went back out for my breakfast. Within minutes, I finished my breakfast and went to the bathroom before I left for school. I came out and grab my bag, "I'm off to school, bye eomma, bye appa!" "Bye, take care and be careful!" eomma echoed back.

"Jeongeun! You forgot your lunchbox!" Dad shouted before I open the door. "Oops! Sorry. Thanks appa." I took the lunchbox and gave him a peck on his cheek like I did to mum. "Be careful~" appa said and close the door behind me.

The school distance to my house was only 15 minutes walk away and I suddenly flinch again when someone shouted my name. "Yoon Jeongeun!" someone shouted my name and ran up to me while I turn around. It was my bestie, Xonn aka Bang Seo Ah. I have known her for 12 years since I was 6 years old.

"You scared me. Why do you always shout?" I asked her knowing why she always did that. We walked in together and went to class. Xonn and I were besties since young and we share the same hobbies like singing, dancing and acting. We learnt languages, martial arts and musical instruments together. We both compose our own songs so we are in the same faculty; Music & Arts. Although we just get into college, we were able to make friends and met our Korean friends who we used to know back in America.

Soon after 2 months of college, we formed our own group and make covers of our favorite idols songs. Alice unnie is the leader of the group since she is the eldest and has more experience in performing. She is great vocalist and she taught us singing techniques. She also considered as our mentor or trainer. Along with Alice unnie (Alice Kim Seon) was Joo Eun (Yang Joo Eun). She is also a nice vocalist. Xonn was more on the rapping side so she taught me a bit of rap when we were in middle school. Sera unnie taught me more on rapping as she was on par with Xonn. Our group consists of 7 members with 2 more members in high school who are Jennie (Jennifer Kang So Jin as her real name) and Yoyo (Lee Yeon Min). Jennie is her nickname and she is 2 years younger than us while Yoyo is a year apart from us.

We are called 'ATTITUDE' and we have a YouTube channel called ATTI Camp [ATTITUDE]. We upload dance and vocal covers of us or individuals. In school, we were busy with lectures for hours till 3pm in the afternoon. Luckily we don't have assignments and we are able to meet up for practice. Both Xonn and I are waiting at the entrance of our school for the unnies and Joo Eun. Suddenly my phone rings.

*ring ring*

I pick it up, "Hello?" "Eun ah, where are you?" someone asked me. "Oppa? Is that you?" I asked the other. "Yes, it's me, your Jeonghan oppa. I wanna meet up with you, is it alright? I miss you my baby sis~" he exclaimed. My body twitched a bit from my oppa's aegyo and agreed to him. "But oppa, I will be practicing with my friends, want to come over instead?" I ask and invited him. I also want to introduce my new friends to him and I didn't see him for 2 months and I missed him. "Ok, if my members want to come along, is it ok?" he was concern. "Of course! I am more than willing to meet your friends cum members, oppa! Love you and see ya!" I bid farewell to him and he hang up.
