Netis had never seen such a large crowd of guests, gathered in the ballroom, for her. Her eyes skimmed across all the faces, searching for anyone out of the ordinary. Her gaze came to rest on an incredibly handsome young man, who looked as though he were a prince from a distant land. What struck Netis was that he didn't seem entirely human. She could just make out some sort of wing-shaped shadows protruding from his back, and his whole body seemed to glow with a soft silver light. King Ictance finished his speech, and Princess Netis was allowed to venture around the ballroom and talk to the guests. She didn't pay a single glance to anybody else around her as she made for the unusual young man she had spotted earlier. As she approached him, he turned to look at her, and bowed.

"Princess Netis of Idia. How lovely it is to meet you at last!"
