Diana tossed and turned, the nightmares all started to come back. All she could see through the debris was her arch-nemesis Circe. Diana was laying in the dirt and gravel, paralyzed under Circes command. Circe was slowly making her way toward her, the dark in her eyes had shown evil in her soul. Diana started coughing up droplets of blood, then mumbled,"Go ahead Circe, finish me off. I know you've been waiting for this day." Circe raised her eyebrow and cackled,"Oh I'm not going to destroy you just yet, I don't think you have suffered enough." As she was pressing her heel into Dianas side, she noticed somebody behind her. "You should've known better Circe, no warrior gets left behind as long as I'm around." Circe looked over to the stranger, her crisp mint green eyes showed so pure. They seemed to have known each other quite well. Diana was still laying on the ground, unable to move her body. Circe let her heel off of Diana and smirked. "Just when I thought I'd seen the last of you, any last words for your princess?" Circe thrust her arm toward the stranger, an electric bolt flying straight toward her. Thunder roared in the background as the blonde haired girl ricocheted the bolt back to Circe. Diana was still laying helpless on the floor and started struggling to make it back up to her feet. Circe glided herself into the air, and the girl mimicked. They both shot a bolt at one another, their bolts both gathering so much energy as they tried to dodge them. The stranger was struggling to keep up with Circe, her electric bolt shooting at the speed of light toward her. Circe let out one last bolt and it headed straight for the girl. Once Diana managed to get up off of the ground, she flew as fast as she could to stand in the way to protect the stranger. She had seemed to know the girl as well. As the electric bolt zoomed right for her, Diana opened her eyes and awoke from her Dream.
Circe opened her eyes immediately, the headache that pounced on her head had been massive, she grimaced."What the hell?"she said, as slowly got up from her canopy bed, the moon shined through into the window, letting her burgundy hair shine. Circe crawled under her bed, removing a chest from underneath and rummaging through it. As soon as she got her hands on her spell book, she started to flip through the pages, hoping she could find something that would take these dreams away. "That's not what you need old friend." A voice called from behind her, Hecate had been standing in the doorway. Her long jet black hair held back by a golden hairband. She made her way into the room, walking toward Circe in a white gown. "And what do I owe this pleasure, Hecate?" Circe said, seeming displeased with the moon goddesses presence."I'm here to help you." Circe looked confused as Hecate continued,"You seek to find this mysterious girl who is more powerful than you and I. In one year time, you will seek vengeance on Wonder Woman once more, this girl will be strong enough to stop you."Hecate reached inside her gown and pulled out a glowing purple crystal tied to a piece of rope, it was long enough to wear as a necklace."Someone that you trust, will journey to earth, and there they will be able to find the girl in which you seek. Have them take this necklace, it will guide them."Hecate handed the necklace to Circe, she slowly reached her hand out for it, and grabbed it from Hecate. Circe looked down at the glowing crystal, it was unlike anything she had ever seen before, it was almost too beautiful to look at, Circe continued to study the crystal, feeling the sharp edges and cliffs that resided on it, and when she looked up, Hecate was gone. The crystal shined so bright as the moon reflected on it, and right after Circe tucked it away inside of her massive chest, she laid back down and went back to sleep.
"You think I'm crazy." Diana said out loud, she was sitting on the edge of Bruce Waynes bed. She was wearing a tank top and night shorts, and her hair was in a messy bun. Bruce looked at her, he knew that he was lucky to see Diana so vulnerable. Everybody knew her as Wonder Woman, but behind closed doors, she was just Diana Prince, his Diana. Bruce had been in love with her the second he had laid eyes on her. She was exotic, which had made her so beautiful. Those long eye lashes and deep ocean blue eyes made it easy to get lost in, and he was crazy about her. "No, I don't think you're crazy", he said out loud as he was putting his clothes on. Diana looked out at the window, the sun was beaming in, she could feel the warmth of the sun. She got up off of the bed and started to walk downstairs, where Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce's butler (and very dear friend) was standing in the kitchen making cups of coffee for everyone. "Good morning Ms. Prince" Alfred said politely. Diana smirked at him, there was something so sweet and genuine about Alfred that had made Diana always smile. "Oh Alfred, I've been having these weird dreams and I don't know what they mean." She took a mug from off of the counter and slowly put it up to her mouth. When she was finished taking a sip, Alfred asked,"Perhaps Mr. Bruce could be of some assistance to you?" Diana knew that Bruce didn't understand her dreams, nor did she think he really cared for that matter, unless it was just the wall that Bruce constantly put up that had Diana questioning his emotions. Just then, Bruce comes walking into the kitchen, grabbing a mug, and sitting on a bar stool nearby. He looked at Diana, it was a hard deep stare, the kind of stare that made Diana feel almost uncomfortable, but for some reason she didn't look away, she smiled at him. He looked down at his coffee and sipped,"You need to relax, maybe Circe is trying to get into your head. Maybe this is some kind of trick that you can't feed into." Bruce had a solution for everything, but this time Diana knew that he was wrong, something didn't feel right. As soon as Diana was about to say something, she felt a giant ache rush through her entire head, and almost collapsed over in pain. "A crystal", she gasped. Diana could imagine a long shining crystal, it was sharp and jagged and was tied to a piece of rope. Alfred and Bruce rushed her into the living room where she could rest on the couch, and suddenly Bruce really believed that something might actually be terribly wrong.
"I've found the shores of Aeaea quite lovely at night." said Circe, she sighed,"I know you don't think you're ready but you are." Briella was not sure of herself, she had never left Aeaea before. Circe had found Briella by the shores when she was an infant and ever since, trained her in the art of sorcery and witchcraft. It often made Circe's daughter, Lyta feel envious toward her. "Circe?" Briella asked, staring into the grains of sand that hit her feet as she walked. She was not ready for the journey she was about to embark. She must find the girl that Hecate claimed to be a savior. "Now, when I teleport you through, this crystal will guide you the rest of the way." Circe instructed. Briella still felt unsure, she tied her rough black hair into a tight bun, and put the hood of her brown cloak over her head. "What does she look like?" she asked. Circe looked up into the sky as she explained to Briella the strangers appearance."She has long blonde hair and these green eyes, they hold a fire in them. You will know when you look into them. I am counting on you to spy on the girl long enough for me to establish a plan, do not let me down disciple." Circe handed her a bag, in it was a small crystal ball. "This will allow us to communicate between realms, use this when you need to get in reach with me, it is not as powerful as the one that Hecate possesses but it will allow you to hear my voice and vice versa." Circe turned to look at Briella, she held one of her hands in hers and said, "Farewell my daughter", and she teleported her straight to earth.
Lyta watched from near the woods, her mother was sending Briella on her way. She knew that she should be happy now that she had her mom all to herself, but all she could feel was hate and vengeance. "She will pay for taking her away from me,"she whispered. Circe started walking back toward her fortress, as her daughter watched in secret, waiting patiently to plan her revenge.
When Briella opened her eyes, she started to look around at the new world. The buildings were short and had about four windows in front of them. There were also strange looking objects parked in the front as well. She had never seen anything like this back on the island, it was all so new to her. It was still dusk out, just as it was in Aeaea, but there were tall lights around every corner that had slightly brightened everything up. Right when Briella turned to the side of her, she noticed a mailbox marked with the name "Kores". This must have been where the savior lived, because the crystal was shining so brightly, that it lit up almost the entire sky.
