"Ri..Ri" someone called my name causing me to snap out of daydream about August. Lately I been thinking bout him I haven't seen or talked to nun of my family in 5 years.
The day I left me and Kylie just rode the bus not knowing where we going just trying to get away. One day we broke in a hotel to sleep in and a lady who owned a restaurant caught us. She knew we needa help so she got me a job at her restaurant.
The door opened and I heard voices.
"Ri table for 4" she said
I walked over there not looking up.
"Welcome to Tia dinner wat can I get you guys to drink" I said not looking up
"Pepsi....sprite...sweet tea" they said I waited for the fourth person to order

I looked up and there his fine ass is inna flesh I haven't seen him in 5years it was August
"Uhh yeah lemme get a root beer" he said I quickly wrote it down and went to make the drinks.
I came back to give them the drinks not making eye contact hoping he won't say anything to me.

I froze trying to decide if I shud run or break down

I walked into the employees only door and seen Ri

I pulled her to me and stared in her eyes and kissed her passionately and she kissed back.
She pulled away
"U shud go now" she said
I smiled and walked back to the booth

I walked back out ian mean to kiss his but damn his kisses are life. I overheard the bitch who was sitting wit Aug saying "so gotta be a hoe look at her a daughter who look like she 10 fuck outta here" she said
Now I was boiling bt I have to keep my job
"U guys still doin OK" I asked

"Aug baby I missed you" she said kissing his cheek
Hm things didn't change at all. I walked away
"Now thts rude don't u have to take our order lil girl" she said to me

I grabbed the towel and cleaned the mess
"Kylie tell Tia to bring another root beer" I said
She came back and I tried to take it but she snatched away
"I wanna do it" she said
I backed away and smiled as she sat it down
"Thanks babygirl" Aug said handing her $5
She tried to hand the money toe but I declined
"Nah baby you earned that by yoself" I said

"Bruh Kelly STFU YOU KNOW IOJ LIKE THT SHIT SO U BETTA COO IT DOWN RIGHT NOW OR U CAN WALK HOME" Aug said

I laughed with the others, clocked out, and walked out only to be stopped by August

He walked closely to me
"Look the kiss was a mistake okay let's just forget this Eva happen.... Take care August" I said pulling off the lot
"Mama can we go to the park" Kylie asked
Man I'm tired as hell but I'll do anything for my baby girl
