Every time Jase looks at me I get chills. Its almost like he knows I'm going to put a note in his locker! I have been debaiting it the last few months, but finally I have the courage.
"Lily," Mrs. Howard screams.
I lift my head from the desk and set it on my hand. "18.6" I have always been great at math. My popularity can sometimes confuse people. I fix the flower crown on my head and wait for the bell to ring.
"Right again," I see her slump over as if to say, "Get one wrong already!"
"Did you already plant the note?" Kathy looks at me. Her blue eyes widen.
"No," I slump in my chair. "Will he say no?"
"Seriously?" She smiles the way she always does when she is about to laugh. "He needs you to pass geometry!"
"Very funny!" I can't help but crack a smile.
I feel a breeze of cold air on my shoulder, Jase. "How do you solve this problem?" He points to the first equation.
"Simple," right before I can explain, the bell rings. "Sorry," he has a long expression. Not the look, never the look.
