One Way Or Another: Finding Niall Horan

Chapter 12-"Confessions"

"How is everyone?I called both Bobby and Niall and their numbers are gone."

"From what I hear and see good" I took a deep breath "I didn't go up and see bobby anymore after Niall came back and found you where gone...I was just simply too embarrassed, I didn't even see Niall after that day. He only came for a couple of days. And after he left, and you are no longer there either, there was just no point, I graduated early and I moved too London. I got accepted to UCL so I came here earlier to settle down and earn up. About the numbers, well after One Direction got signed everyone spread the word their numbers spread and everyone kept calling bobby's house and Niall's phone up in Mullingar, so from what I heard Management decided it'd be best to change the numbers to prevent stuff like that. I sadly don't know either since I lost contact with them both."

"Congrats on getting accepted to UCL I remember that's were you wanted to go. How was is when Niall found out I'd left?" I took a breath and told her the story, about the gathering and everything that went on.

"I am so sorry Meg for making you Lie..."

"It's alright love, he had to understand it was for the best" She then proceeded to tell me about where she was, how she had kept up with the show, how much she missed him, where she lived that she graduated, that her mom just told her today she got a divorce....about damn time i'd say....about her best friend Elaine. She gave me her phone number.

"Meg please! if you ever see Niall please give him my phone number! tell him everything I've told you, tell him I miss him, that I love him,  That I haven't stopped trying,and I never will!"

"I promise Millie, it might not be too easy now tho..their popularity here is insane and all tho we are in the same city..it might still get though..but I promise i'll do my best"

"Meg my card is about to run out"

"I understand, Thank you for calling me, I needed to hear from you again."

"Thank you for everything Meg, Best Luck in all you do"

"I hope you find him" we said our good byes..after hanging up I made a small prayer that i'd bump in to Niall soon. He needed to know this.

***Millie's POV*** 

I still cant get over last, lets recap..I graduated, mom got divorced, I found out Niall and Bobby changed numbers and I spoke to Megan. Well at least now someone knows where I am at. Elaine and I sat drinking our breakfast smoothie, it was our favorite, Mango Blueberry. My mom came to pick me up a bit too early so I didn't even have time to finish that. I hugged Elaine thank her again and headed out, she was in my car. 

"Hope you don't mind love mine was full of boxes" She said to me

"Of boxes?"

"My boss and his wife have like a cottage type of thing out side their house" I gave her a funny look "Their estate is HUGE and its a cute little place with enough space for the both of us. Just while the divorce settles we don't have to be under the same roof of Matt, so today we are just gonna go unpack a few things and go back to Matt's place and we can pack  your room" I don't know why but all of a sudden my temper was flaring. I stayed quiet the rest of the drive, she was right the place was nice, and the cottage was cozy. I walked in and dropped my bag on the floor.

"So you got divorced..." I was about to explode.

"Yes, it was for the best of both of us, What's wrong Sammie-Leigh?"

"Why did you decide to do this now?" I turned eyes blazing at her "Why couldn't you do this 10 months ago before you let him drag us here?!" My eyes were burning with tears now "Why did you let him? Do you not see what this is doing to me? how fucking much is tearing me apart? I HATE HIM! I always have! Why did you let him get away with so much shit Virginia?!" She just stood there sadden looking at me her own eyes filling with tears "Why didn't you divorce him the first time he dare lay a hand on me? Why did it have to take you so many years, insults so much humiliation? You let him take me away from the only thing that made sense to me! My only true source of happiness" I crumbled in the couch in tears. 

"Samaria?" she sat  next to me resting a hand on my back "I'm sorry, I know it doesn't mean much now but I truly am and let me show you darling let me prove to you that I changed. I was so stupid t-"

"It's too late mom, I was going to move out upon turning 18 but I am leaving now. I just can't anymore" I interrupted her finally looking at her. 

"Baby please stay, where would you go?"

"for now Elaine's house, not too far, but I cant be with you anymore, I need time to heal, to cure the wounds I got left with, being away from you will probably be the best route to forgiveness and please try to understand that. After that I am leaving to New York with Elaine, because I am going to find him Mom, I will get my Niall back."

"Sammie I wish you would just stay here with me for the rest of that month" I shook my head at her.

"I just want to know something" I looked at her dead in the eyes "Did you regret me?"

"What?" her eyes had a sadden shock to them "Never why would you say that?"

"Because you have proved me other wise, because all those times that Matt yelled at me telling me what a failure I was you never did anything, all of those times that he insulted me and told me he was disgusted by me because I was nothing like you, that was probably like 'the scum of my father' you seam to agree with him, is that it? " She grabbed my chin and made me face her looked at me dead in the eyes.

"Samaria Leigh, You are absolutely the best thing that ever happened in my life" Something inside of me was breaking in to a million pieces I think I needed to hear that. "Matt is absolute garbage and will never be half the man your Father was" I never heard her speak about my dad before, she now had my full attention.....
