I'm sorry!!!! Finals are coming up and I want my grades to be looking right. I'm thinking of a new book, but I don't know if I should start writing it... Without further adieu, let's get on with the story.
Robin's P.O.V.
".....And?!" I couldn't help but ask for a little more story. I wonder quietly what happened before the two met Noah.
I'll ask them later...
"Well we have been running ever since. I got back in contact with my dad and he thought it would be the best if I went with them. I just think he didn't want to deal with me." As he spoke, it made me think of my mom. It's been me and her against the world, until Aiden came into the picture. I miss my father. I wonder where he is.
"Hello?! Are you listening?" Noah was waving his hands in front of my face. I quickly swat his hands away. We talk for a little bit more. I can't help but to laugh at Noah's corny jokes. He reminds me of an old friend. We laugh a bit more while walking back to the site. Jack and Nicole weren't in the cave, so we race each other to the top of the gorge. I feel the wind flying through my free hair. Noah try's to show off, but almost runs into Nicole. Nicole is sitting with Jack, looking at the stars. We walk over and join them. Nicole gives me an inviting smile. Jack doesn't even notice until I sit right next him. He looks over and doesn't say a thing.
I love the way his Raven colored hair sways in the wind. His stormy grey eyes look through me. He is slightly taller than me, the perfect height. I lift my hand to say hi, but by the time I do, he already turned around. I turn around and see Noah and Nicole have big idiotic smiles on their faces. Before I could deny anything Nicole grabbed my hand and pull me away. Her strawberry blonde hair sparkled and flowed behind her as we walked. She stopped when we were close to a clearing.
"Spill now. I saw your face and that sad excuse for a hi." She looks at me as if she already knows.
"I have no-" I stop and Nicole turns arounds. A man in a lab coat is walking around and briefing his little fleet of men. Nicole tenses up and starts sneaking away. I follow her lead. We get back to the top of the waterfall, but Noah and Jack are back at the cave. Nicole looks at the gorge with a frightened face.
"Do you want to ride with me?"
"That me feel a lot better... I'm sorry, I usually ride on jack's back..." She said as she looks at the flat rock with mistrust.
"It'll be fine. I promise I go very slow, make sure you have your balance." I start levitating the Rock and I notice that she is clawing my arm.
"You need to relax. It's fine. Just look up at the star-"
"THERE THEY ARE!" A burly voice calls out from the top of the gorge.
"We're going to have to fly a little faster." I start to think about moving faster my destination. Something flys by my ear. I can feel the blood pouring from my ear.
"YOU IDIOT! DON'T HURT THEM!"
A couple more stray shots are fired as we get closer to cave. I hear a small whimper come from Nicole.
"You alright there Nicole?" I ask her in a worried tone. I turn around and see her clutching her side, blood seeping from her wound. I yell to Nicole to hold on and I accelerate the process of my gliding. Instead of landing the rock at the front of the entrance, I make a make-shift hospital stretcher and floated her the rest of the way. The boys stop talking and looked at us. Noah started to patch Nicole up and Jack asked me to come talk to him.
"What happened out there?" He asked with an prying manor.
"There was a man in a lab coat followed by men with guns wanting to capture us, but one of the men got impatient and started firing at us. One bullet hit Nicky and an other cut my ear..." I noticed he was staring at my ear. He got a bandaid and apply it to my ear for me. I hope I look normal on the outside, because I'm freaking out.
He is really sweet, I hope he feels the same way!
He sat at the fire, staring into it, as if it had the answers to our problem.
"Ok, we are going to go down stream, instead of up stream. We'll start first thing in the morning so we can get the jump on things. I'm going to bed..." Before he walks of to go to bed, he looks at Nicole one more time. Without a hesitation, he laid a kiss on her head.
