Leaving home

I woke up in a nice, warm bed. I sat up quickly as I realized it wasn't my bed. I soon realized this was a mistake. I gripped my left arm with my right. I sat still to try to steady my eyesight. When my vision improved a little, I tried to stand up, with success. I walked to the door of the room I was in. I opened it and walked into what looked like a hallway. I crossed the hallway and found a room with... A goat lady? Wow, whatever I did before passing out really messed with my head. I lost my balance and had to lean onto the wall. When I put my right shoulder on the wall, it made a small noise. The goat lady turned around and rushed towards me. As I lost my balance again and started to fall to the floor, she managed to save me. She carried me back to my room.

"What are you doing up, my child?" She asked with concern in her voice. I ignored her question and asked my own.

"Where am I?"

"You are in the ruins, my child. You fell and got attacked by a flower. I managed to save you, but you need to rest." She advised. I winced as she put me in the bed and she jumped back.

"I'm sorry, my child. You dislocated you're shoulder when you fell, and it'll be sore for a few days."I nodded in understanding. I wasn't tired, just sore. Then all of the memories came back. I remembered leaning over the edge of what seemed a bottomless hole with my friends, and how I slipped and fell. I remembered hearing their screams of terror as I fell, and fell, and fell... I remembered the flower that tried to kill me.

"I wanna go home." I moaned. The goat lady looked surprised.

"B-but this is your home!" She made me lay down. I pushed her away. She left the room and came back with a cup of tea. I drank the tea and soon felt much better. I laid down pretended to fall asleep. She left the room and  I quietly left the room. I went down a staircase that led to a long hallway. I read a sign that said "leave the ruins". I walked down the hallway. I saw a huge door. Then, goat lady came up behind me.

"Please don't go. If you do, all of the monsters  will kill you." I didn't care. I couldn't stay here forever. She sighed.

"Pitiful, is it not? I can not save even a child. If you do leave here, promise me you will not kill any monsters, no matter the case." I stared at her in shock. Me-kill? I could never do that. I nodded and walked out the door into a snowy forest. I walked down the paved path. After a while, i heard a crack. I spun around, only to see a short shadow. I saw it move, and then white bars flew up around me. I was trapped.
