Our Love is True | Sans x Frisk ON HOLD

Cнapтer 1 ~ Reѕeт

** The story begins after the Genocide run reset **

But before that... What happened before you(Frisk) reset?

** Before the reset... **
You were in a countless fight with Sans. Chara was in control of your body while you were stuck in your own mind. You called out to Chara, "PLEASE CHARA... STOOOOPPP!!!!!"

Chara was almost going to stab Sans in his tired state when they suddenly stopped. They were surprised, "W..What just... happened?!" They couldn't move.

Chara then realized that you.. You stopped them from stabbing Sans. Determination helped you.

You felt yourself finally controlling your body. Chara screamed, "W-WHAT?!?! NO!! You're not supposed to have the power to control your body!"

While you were in control, you throw the knife at the ground. Sans looked at you in confusion. He asked me, "Are you... sparing me?" You nodded.

"Why? When you had the potential to finally kill me... Why are you sparing me?"

You told Sans, "Sans... Its me... Frisk!"

Sans became quiet and a little surprised. "I.. don't get it.. What are you trying to tell me...?"

You said, "I'm finally able to stop Chara at the right moment.. Now that I can control myself again... I'm... I'm going to reset."

The reset bar then appears in front of you. Sans was more surprised.

He said, "So... You're finally going to end this huh?"

You told Sans you're sorry for everything that had happened in this run. He replied, "We'll talk about it after the reset. I'll see you there.."

I nodded. I told him farewell and placed my hand on the reset bar. You felt relief that you finally ended it.

But before the reset was overcoming you, Chara showed up in front of you. They said, "So.. You're just going to reset.. Just like that? You're finally going to start a pacifist run after this reset? You know.. Whatever happens... I will always be there. There to where you are. I'll always be with you. When you need me, I'll be there... to FIGHT! Heh, I'll never leave your side. Well.. I won't keep you waiting. See you in the next run~!"

After that everything in your sight becomes white and you felt your eyes closing and you just go with the flow.

Sans mumbled to himself, "...Chara..."

** After the reset... **

- Frisk's P.O.V. -
I woke up laying in a bed of yellow flowers. I stood up and told myself, "... A new beginning..." I smiled and walked forward.

I then saw Flowey popped out. He said, "Howdy!... Frisk. How do you feel that everything you've done on the last run became a waste? You're such a dissapointment. Are you going to kill again? ARE YOU?!"

He then summons his "friendliness pellets" and was about to hit you when Toriel suddenly showed up and threw a fire ball at Flowey. He flew away while Toriel walked up to see me.

Toriel then says her usual sentence and greetings. Just hearing mom makes me so happy... She's.. alive... Without realizing, I suddenly hugged her, surprising her. She said, "Oh! You must've been scared.. Let me take you to the ruins dear."

We went to the ruins and gave me the usual instructions. My journey to the ruins continues.

(Skipping the journey to the fight between you and Toriel)

Toriel then proposed a fight between us. She won't let me pass until I defeat her. But I don't want to fight... Not this time...

I showed Mercy to her. I continued giving her Mercy and she kept on fighting me but refused on hitting me. She then starts her dialogue about not really wanting to fight me. Time goes by when the fight finally ends when she spared me.

The two of us then hugged. I whispered to her ear, "...I love you mom.." After that, I felt my shoulders getting a bit wet realizing that she was crying. She then replied, "I love you too my child.. Please.. Please be safe out there, okay?"

I nodded and we separated ourselves from the hug. She gave me a kiss on the forehead and smiled at me. She gave me her farewell and I did the same. I left the ruins after.

When I was out of the gate. I thought to myself, 'This is it...'
