I was peacefully laying here gripping my favorite hoodie. Chres gave it to me because i would always wear it just because it smells like him. It still did so i laid here inhaling it while looking out the window. It was my favorite type of day raining not storming but just raining. I thought about running out there to play in it like me and my brother used to but i knew if he(jay) found out he would kill me. I could only step outside when he told me to or when he was with me. Last time i went out without permission i almost died. I was snapped out of my thoughts by someone yanking my hair.
Jay:Aye bitch get your lazy ass up and go get me sone damn food*gripping my hair*
He was gripping to tight i could hear it ripping then he slung me to the floor hard. It hurt like hell then he pulled me me up so our bodies were as close as they could be. His hot breath blowing in my face smelling like liquor and weed. He put his head in the crook of my neck sucking all over it for a while he punched me I'm guessing because he didn't get the reaction he wanted.
Jay:u got 5 minutes to be downstairs or the kids get it*smirks leaves*
I get up as fast as i could and slip on a pair of joggers and jordan flip flops. I decided to fix my face in the car i rush downstair just before jay's hand connected to cj's face

My eyes got wide i looked at her and met her pleading eyes

I run looking at londy one more time mouthing "im so sorry". I helped all the kids into the car and drove to the nearest market then mcdonalds.

I turned around hoping he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. But deep down i knew if he really thought it was me he wouldn't give up til he knew. I turned one more time to see him coming closer

I hand her the money then i felt somebody grip my shoulder and turn me around. It was ray he looked at me with watery eyes then pulled me into a spine crushing hug

I take the trays already knowing ray would follow we walk in the play area and sat the food down.

And just like they all came running they definitely got chres's appetite
I pass them their food and they scarf it down running back to the play area. I look at ray and see his mouth open
