Heart break

The day

Alayna's POV
*hanging out with her best friends Corra and Alice*
I write him a note that says " hey I think you kinda cute wanna hang out after school?" And hand it to my friend Corra "who's this to?" She asks and I reply with " it's for Evan Swanson I think I like him." In return they just look at me like I have three eyes. Now Evan might not be the cutest, funniest, most athletic or the most popular kid at school but none of that matter I had liked him back and kindergarten but was now just getting the guts to say something. We have been friends for a few years now and I am ready to take it a step further. As they look at me I stare  and say "what!?" But I know what there thinking and I don't care. Corra finally speaks up and says "ok but I don't see why you want me to give this to him". "Just do it." I said back. I tell Corra to give it to him after class just as the bell rings. All period long I was anxious and couldn't sit still. The worst things went through my head, what if he says no? , what if he isn't into me that way. Finally class is over I run out to meet Corra and Alice in the hall as always and Corra hands me a note. I open it, it's from Evan and it reads "hey! Your pretty cute to. I can't hang out today but here's my number ###-####" I smile ear to ear. The rest of the day is torture but after what seems like years the school day is over. I grab my bag and race home to get my phone and text him. I didn't know what to put but this is what I sent " hey Evan it's me Alayna. R u going to the dance on Friday?" I wait and stare at my phone, I don't get a response for over an hour. " yah I'm going but I'm going alone...how about you?" I immediately answer with "same. Maybe we should go together? Idk it's just a though". Again I wait, nothing back for 3 hours but when he did respond it was with this "Um sure we can go together it would be fun! But you know just as friends of course." Me heart sank before I could say anything a second message pops up "unless you want to go as more..." I begin to text back " well do u like me?" Within seconds he says "yes I have liked you for as long as I remember" this made me very happy as I said " well then if I like you and you like me... Doesn't that mean we're together?" The last text I got that night was "I don't know but I hope it dose". That night I fall asleep thinking about him. Best sleep ever

So Evan is really into shy girls so Alayna is actually really outgoing but she acts shy to attract him when you keep reading you will understand there both putting on a quiet, shy, innocent front.
