The next morning, I was exhausted I only caught about an hour of sleep. While my temporary roommate was sound asleep I took a quick peek over his side of the room and discovered his name was Wesley Foster. Wesley slept all night long, a gentle snore as a constant.

He arose slowly and stretched, "Morning Princess." He smirked, his eyes still droopy.

"Don't call me that!" I restated.

"Oh so you're apparently not a night or day person." He stated, getting up from his bed.

I also stood up, "I'll have you know I am always pleasant, I just don't like annoying jerks." I snapped.

He chuckled at me. "You look like hell." I ran my fingers through my now knotted brunette hair.

"Like you look any better." I retorted.

I opened my drawer and gathered some clothes and my toiletries. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"To change and get ready." I explained slowly.

"Why don't you change in here.. y'know your room." He stated.

"As long as you're staying in here, this is not my room." I said.

He grabbed his heart and had a mock expression of hurt, "Why do you hurt me so Blair?" He teased.

I didn't respond but instead just turned around and headed to the washrooms.

I decided to wear my hair down in its natural waves, and put on a pair of jean cutoff shorts, a black band shirt, and converse before heading back to my room.

When I got back to the room, I noticed Wesley had changed and was just sitting on his bed texting. "So are you ready?" I asked impatiently.

"For what?" Wesley asked. I rolled my eyes, a habit that was becoming a constant when I was around Wesley.

"To the administration to get this room situation fixed." I answered.

"I'm good, I'm staying here." He said.

I was getting fed up with Wesley and his nonchalance about the whole thing. "Wesley, you are coming." I informed him. Now it was his turn to roll his eyes.

He groaned and stood up, "Fine, I'll go if it gets you to quit nagging me."

---Break---

Since the school year had just started, the office was still pretty quiet, so we got right in with the housing director. He sat behind the desk and told us to have a seat.

After Wesley and I, mostly me, explained the story to him, he excused himself for a few minutes. I was hoping this was a good sign that they were looking up available rooms.

When he came back about ten minute later, his face remained neutral. He sat down and looked at the two of us. "Here at Vanatta we try to pair good roommates together and it is a rarity when we pair coed roommates together. But it looks like you two have the rarity of being roommates. Unfortunately there are no dorms available as of right now so you two will remain roommates, at least for this year." He informed us.

My heart dropped, "What? I can't share my room with a guy! I don't feel comfortable!" I exclaimed.

Wesley coughed "Prude." under his breath, earning him a death glare from me.

"I'm sorry Ms. Fairbanks, but this is your only option besides living off campus." He said apologetically.

"It's fine, I know it's not your fault, thank you for your time." I thanked the man before heading out of the office, Wesley right behind me.

"Now that we can stop whining about that, I'm going to the gym. Bye Roomie." Wesley said, a smirk plastered on his face.

I sighed as I was left alone, this was going to be a long year.
