P.O.V: Dullblade
"Mr Potter, you are eleven years old, yes?"

"Yes sir Dullblade" the young child replied

"Then I advise you to take the rite of families"

"What is it?"

"It is a ritual we goblins use to keep old families in line, it is what we use when a wizard comes of age at seventeen and are due for their inheritance"

"But I am not seventeen" the Potter heir replied

"Correct however you are the last direct living Potter and therefore you are able to become head of house at eleven, and because you will be emancipated then you are able to take other heads as well"

"So what are my responsibilities as head of house?"

Calmly I replied "As head of house you have full access to all of your vaults, you have the ability to form alliances, and declare war on another family, that has not happened in quite a long time, and finally, you will no longer have to abide by the underage magic rule because as soon as you become emancipated the trace will disappear"

"How do I become head of house?"

"Simply cut your finger and allow three drops of blood onto the parchment" I replied and watched as the small boy removed his wand and cast a weak diffindo. The three drops were set and his finger heald so we both watched as writing appeared on the thick parchment.

"Seven families?" Harry asked

"Appears so Mr Potter"

"How can that be?"

"The Potter line began as a muggle born woman by the name of Bella Potter stumbled upon Hogwarts on its opening day, the founders took her in at once and began to teach her of the 'strange' gifts. The founders became very fond of Bella so much so that Slytherin adopted her by way of a parental blood bond. Bella was so eager to have someone to care about her that she agreed. Gryffindor got wind of this and offered Bella the same thing thus both Gryffindor and Slytherin blood adopted the young girl. No one knew any different so they all assumed Bella to be a pureblood thus the Potter family was born with two of the founders blood. When Bella married Charles Weasley, their child was more magically gifted and thus the world furthered it's assumption that the Potter line was pure. When Gryffindor and Slytherin died their fortune became the Potters which gave them the fortune to match the pureblood name"

"Okay so how do Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Black, and Kentworth play into this?"

"Your mother, she is from a very long line of squibs born from the son of Helga Hufflepuff, and the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw. While we do not have a place for squibs in our comunity we also do not compleatly disconnect them from our world. Thus when your mother thrice defied a squib from the long lost Kentworth line she unknowingly took his title in our world."

"And the house of Black?"

"Sirius Black was a friend of your mother and father's and your god father, as such he wrote you as his legal heir to the Black name and fortune"

"What happened to him?"

"Mr Black was killed by the dementors kiss, I do not wish to explain this so if you wish to know then please do it on your own time"

"Very well...So now that I know the titles and a bit of history how to I take them?"

"Simply state that you are ready to become head of each house"

"I Harry James Potter herby proclaim myself head of house Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Potter, Black, and Kentworth"

A flash blinded the room as rings boxes and parchments appeared on the desk

"Place the rings on your right middle finger in order from left to right" Dullblade said with anticipation

When the seven rings merged together and a flash of light signified that the child did in fact pass each rings test a small smile crossed my lips "Now we get to the fun stuff"
