Chapter 3: Study Date
They put me down and I turned to see Zane. "Zane!" I yell and he smirked. "The one and only." I pick up my backpack that fell when I spinned, "You were the one asked me to study with you?" I asked as we started to walk. "Yea, I really do need help." He said in a tone I have never heard. We get t my house and we walk in. "Mawmaw, Pawpaw! I'm home!!" I yelled. My Mawmaw walks in, "Pawpaw is at wo-Who is this young feller?" "This is uh..." I say looking at Zane. "I'm Zane, Kaylee's friend." He said with a smile. "We are going up stairs to study!" I say and she nods. Zane walks upstairs and I follow him but Mawmaw stops me. "Don't be kissing up there okay Honey?" I roll my eyes at her and I walk up. I walk into my room, "Did you bring your math book?" I say grabbing mine and sits on my blue bed. "No, can we share?" He said sitting beside me. "Ugh fine.." I grunt. I show him everything he needs to know for the test. "By the way where are your mom and dad?" He said looking at a photo. "They died." I say simply. "Oh...I'm sorry." He said looking down and a gloomy tone. "Maybe he isn't that bad of a guy." I thought.
