Olivia furrowed her eyebrows and looked up at her brother, "What is the Jungle?"

"It's what Owen and I call eleven am on a Friday in the Grand Hall" The male informed, "It's when the students flood in and literally fight to get even the smallest crumble of food. They serve the best food on Fridays"

"I don't get it"

The chocolate eyed sibling nodded, "That's expected, you need to have taken part in it to understand. Unfortunately for you, the students who went to Richmond just got back... and they're hungry, so good luck with that" The teenagers were faced with a crowded Grand Hall when they entered. The students had flocked around the food in hunger, they looked like vultures who had never seen food before.

"That's rude"

An arm slung around Adrian's shoulders and a sigh escaped the lips of the person, the boy glanced over to his right and found Penelope looking back at him. She let out a sigh as she scanned the dining hall, "I present to you: the Jungle"

The wolf and the witch glanced over at their fellow brunette before the Park girl forced her inside, she told her that it was a right of passage to become a student at SBS— which was not true— and Olivia believed her. Looking back at her brother, the pale-skinned girl slowly went further into the Grand Hall, disappearing into the 'Jungle'.

The Aquilo boy sighed as he turned away from the crowd of students to face his witch friend, "Why is it that you enjoy sending people into the Jungle?"

Penelope shrugged, "I like to see them get consumed in the pit as they desperately try to get even the smallest crumble of food"

Adrian chuckled, "Yeah, well, my sister will manage"

The female's eyes widened if only for a slight moment when she realized that Olivia wasn't just a new student but it was the Olivia, the wolf's sister. The corners of the hazel-eyed girl's lips curled into a smirk, "Oh, this is gonna be fun"

"You're the devil, Penelope"

"Well..." The Park girl trailed off when a witch from her coven approached the two with a plate filled with food. The plate was handed to the male before the witch left the brunettes. Penelope faced the alpha with a smile, "The devil got you some food before all of this started"

"Thanks but I think I'm gonna wait for Olivia—"

The sound of glass breaking echoed throughout the Grand Hall, it was loud enough to draw everyone's attention to the Aquilo girl in the middle of the Hall. She stood with wide eyes and a bloody palm as her plate had broken in her hands and ended up slicing her skin, "Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I— it just slipped out of my hands"

The least of anyone's concerns was how Olivia could've dropped the plate when the other students were standing far away from her as clumsiness had been the first thing to blame. The vampires in the hall set their eyes on the girl, all of them triggered by the blood and the werewolves seemed to notice and quickly rose from their seat. The students in the dining hall neared the girl, almost cornering her.

Adrian moved as quickly as he could to get to his sister's side and when he did, he took her by her hand and immediately began to lead her out of the Grand Hall when the bloodthirsty vampires began to flock around both of them, the girl's blood making the veins under their smoldering bloodred eyes bulge.

"Get out of my way"

Without any commotion or starting a fight, the Aquilo boy shoved his way past the vampires as his wolves prevented them from even coming near their alpha or his sister. The siblings left the pit of the Jungle and exited the Grand Hall.
