"Hi Bhabhi..." Manvi smiles knocking on Jeevika's door that morning.

"Hi. Morning." Jeevika smiles at her. But, her smile did not have any of the happiness she saw last night.

"Hi Manvi." Viren, Virat's brother greets her standing behind Jeevika.

"Hi Viren Bhai. I didn't get a chance to talk to you yesterday."

"You were busy yesterday. It was your wedding if I remember it right." he pats her shoulder playfully and walks out. "By the way...where is my brother this morning." he turns around to ask.

"He left an hour ago..."

Viren nods and completes the sentence. "....to work?"

"Yeah." Manvi smiles. Viren rolls his eyes and goes downstairs.

"Where are you going?" Manvi asks Jeevika looking at her dressed up.

"Work."

"Seriously?" Manvi asks. "How come you get to work and I can't go to college?" she asks curiously.

"Because you are the dutiful daughter in law. I am not." Jeevika smiles. "Got to go Manvi. I would have taken today off to give you company if I didn't have a deadline. Sorry."

"No problem. Have a nice day at work, I guess."

"Okay. have a nice day at home, I guess." Jeevika hugs her and runs downstairs.

"Manvi?" she hears Vanshika calling her and goes down. She was sitting with a few of the relatives that were leaving that morning. "Taiji and Tauji are leaving." she tells Manvi.

"Have a safe trip. Hope to see you soon." Manvi bids them goodbye.

"Hope to see you with a healthy baby the next time we come. Don't wait until its too late like Jeevika." Taiji blesses her and Manvi's gapes in shock. What?

"Don't worry Taiji. I will make sure she does exactly that and not waste her time in doing things that this family doesn't need." Vanshika tells her looking at Jeevika who was grabbing some fruit at the breakfast table.

"Bye Manvi." Jeevika walks out indifferently without looking at anyone.

"I hope you never turn out like her Manvi." Vanshika tells her. "They have been married for six years now. Whats the use of such a marriage when she doesn't give company to her husband or a grandchild to the family?" she shakes her head disappointed looking at Jeevika walk out. Manvi looks at Viren bhai sitting outside reading the newspaper. Doesn't he need to go to work? - Manvi wonders.

The whole morning Vanshika took Manvi around the house explaining her responsibilities and expectations. It was pretty evident that Vanshika wanted to her have a baby and look after the house rather than continue her studies. After lunch, Manvi walks into her room and calls her mom.

"Did you ever tell her that I want to study, Mom?" she asks.

"I did mention it a couple of times." her mom tells her.

"She doesn't want me to Mom. She wants me to stay at home and take care of the family."

"What does Virat say?"

"Virat says ...." Manvi sighs. "I don't know what Virat says...he doesn't tell me anything."

"Talk to him. Maybe his mom is just desperate for a grandchild."

"I don't want kids right now Mom!!"

"That is something you and Virat need to figure out, Mannu."
