Ava became the second person to have survived the killing curse, it was because of Harry's love that she survived but it was also Harry's love that she forgot.

When she wakes up in the Hogwarts infirmary she realizes that she has forgotten the last four years of her life, the four years in which she fell in love with Harry Potter.

Draco Malfoy, seeing this situation as a way to mess with Potter takes the girl in his arms, coaxing her with sweet words.

And while Ava might not remember the Draco from her past, there are some thing even the strongest of magic can't erase.
