I felt my eyes flutter open. I heard my door being opened. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. Blake came in. He had a small smile, but I could see the sadness. He came over to me and sat on the bed. "Good morning," he said softly. "Good morning." A small smile crept across my face.
"So, my mom said you'll be staying with us for a while."
"Yeah, she called me yesterday to come see you."
"Oh, so you know?"
"Yeah, but, in all honesty, I've been sad too." His eyes met mine and seemed to glitter. They were almost like glass. I saw a tear slide down his cheek. I quickly wiped it away. He held my hand on his cheek. "I made you sad? I'm so sorry. I just needed to be away for a while, but I never stopped thinking about you." I hugged him and felt my eyes begin to water.
He hugged me close and I could feel his tears hit my shoulder. "I'm just happy to see you, but I never stopped thinking of you either." He leaned back and looked into my eyes. He wiped my wet cheeks and slightly smiled. He leaned in and kissed my cheek. It made my cheeks turn red and I heard him giggle a little.
"I knew it." I looked at him confused. "We both still have feelings for each other." I looked at my hands and felt butterflies in my stomach. He still has feelings for me? I'm glad his mom called me.
