hey my name is kennedy . but my family calls me kay kay . i attend North Pike High School . im not really popular . but today is the first day of my junior year 🙄 . i only have one friend . her name is laylani french . we've been besties since preschool . my mom isn't really home as much because she's a judge . her name is malaysia fenty .
" kay kay ! get down here , breakfast is ready . " our maid bianka called . i went down stairs and ate my frosted flakes . then i got in my buick , oh i love my lacrosse buick so much 💙 . i go to laylani's house and pick her up . i used my key to enter her house since her house is my second home . " LAYLANI! you got 2 minutes to get down here or im leaving right now !!! " i yell through the house . her parents are never home , they're always on vacation . " hey bestie 😜 " said laylani . i gave her a middle finger 🖕🏾 . she took 15 minutes . we both get in the car and ride to school .

i go and show lay my classes and we only have lunch together . she acts like shes dumb so she can get the cute jocks . when in reality shes really smart. her schedule is :

we went to the first four classes then the lunch bell rung . i saw this cute boy he's caramel , i think he's new here . but im probably not his type . " kennedy ! " i hear someone yell . it was laylani . i walked over to her and she was talking to that cute caramel boy . i whispered " laylani do you know him " she shook her head yes . she said " kay kay meet my cousin josh , but you can call him jay ."
josh and i had the exact same schedule . he talks about me cause im darkskin , how rude . he doesn't even know me . but me liking him is past dead . i know now to not judge a book by its cover .
later on that day , josh came to me and laylani's table 🙄 . " oh lord , here come this nigga " i mumbled . " what you say shordy ? " he said . i ignored him the whole time . " what we doing after school ? " laylani spoke . " i thought me and you was gone go to the mall ? and then the movies . " i whispered so josh wouldn't hear me . " alright im in , josh you wanna come ? " i was so mad why would lay ask him that . " yeah cous " said josh .
