Chapter 1

*Riley's POV , April*

Hello! My name is Riley Jones. How's life been? Of course, I'm still in school and only halfway through the school year. I'm glad this is Friday night so I can have some relaxation time. I'm going to hangout with my boyfriend, Camden Smith at my house tonight after diner.
School was tiring and boring as usual! I found out something that I never wanted to find out today! I wish I would of never had to deal with this bad news. It turns out, I'm pregnant! The other bad news is, I don't know how I'm going to tell my boyfriend, my mother, and father! Good thing graduation is only in 3 months! Pregnant at 18, that's gonna be hard! My parents always warned me about this! I won't be able to get the education I need for a while, but it's worth it! I will do anything for my kid(s)! I have a feeling of excitement and nervousness flowing through my body! I have decided to tell them today before Camden comes over. "Mom, dad, can you come here." I scream as I'm upstairs in my bedroom. "What's wrong honey?", My mom said back as I heard her coming up the stairs with my father whispering to her. "I got to talk to y'all about something important." "What is it?", My dad said. "Well, I didn't know how or when to tell you but, I'm..... Pregnant....". "You're what?", my dad said. "I'm pregnant!" "I would of never thought I'd be hearing you say these words right now." "I'm sorry mother! I know it's going to be tough, I know it may ruin my education, but I'm willing to be a mother!" "You don't know what you're getting yourself into! We had to deal with this when we were younger! It's more trouble than you think!" my dad said. "Through all of this, your father and I will be here with you, through all of it! We love you but, we are disappointed in you!" my mother said. "I love y'all too. And I know you would be. But you can go back downstairs now." "Well you better call Camden." my dad said. "He's coming over tonight!" "Okay well you can tell him then!", my mom said.

*8:37 pm, after diner*

That diner filled me up! My mother fixed great Fettuccine Alfredo! "That Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious!", Camden said. "Hey babe, I got to tell you something. I can't keep putting this off. "What is it baby girl? I can tell you've been looking worried since diner!" "Well, I'm... Pregnant!" "Are you being serious?" "Yes... I just...I just didn't know how to tell you." "Well I'm glad you told me! Please promise me you're gonna keep it! This is gonna be a challenging path to go on, but I'm ready for it!" "What do you think your parents are going to react? I'm actually pretty scared! I hope I can get a good college education as well after graduating from high school! I want a good job so we can raise a kid or kids!" "Trust me, you can still get that! Either you go to college for a few months before the baby is born, or you do it online! I'm willing to help you through this! I love you so much!" "I love you too!"
I continued to lay back on my bed. I had many thoughts going through my head. Was I actually ready to be a mother? Especially at 18? But after all, this is actually my fault. I'm just pretty surprised how my parents reacted when I told them! I thought they would've kicked me out of this house! I'm very thankful that they didn't kick me out! "When are you going to tell your parents about me? How do you think they're gonna react to the news?" "I'll tell them once I go home. They'll probably be mad at first but they'll probably be willing to help out with it once it's born. They'll probably be excited to have a grandchild. But with me only being 18,I don't know how they would react besides scolding me." "Are you really gonna stay with me, or are you faking it? I know how a lot of the teenage girls who gets pregnant always usually end up without a boyfriend once they tell them that their pregnant." "Babe, i'm gonna be there with you through all of this! I promise i'll be there for you! I would never leave you, I love you so much! I'm willing to go through this with you! Anyways, that is my baby too in there! Don't worry, i'll help pay for stuff for the baby also!" he said with a smile on his face as he leaned down to give me a kiss on the forehead. I try not to worry about this because I know stress isn't good! But, it's kinda hard not to stress and worry about this! This house is pretty large enough. I have room to have a baby nursery right near my bedroom! There is a extra room beside me, I can't wait till I go and get ultrasounds done! I especially can't wait till we find out what the gender is gonna be! "What are you hoping that it's gonna be?" I said with wonder. "I hope it's a boy!" "I'm hoping and crossing my fingers for a girl!" "I just can't wait till we buy a lot of baby stuff for the nursery!" Camden said with excitement. "I'm so exhausted!", I said while yawning. School makes me so tired and exhausted! "Well, i'm gonna go ahead and go home. It's pretty late, good night I love you.", he said right before he leaned over and kissed me. Bye, I love you too. Be safe on your way home. Text me and let me know what your parents say when you tell them, okay?", I said. "Alright I sure will, bye.", he said while walking out of my room. Not long after he walked out, my eyes kept going closer and closer till I fell asleep. I couldn't hold them open no more, even how hard I tried.

*The next morning*

The sunlight was bright coming through my bedroom window. The sunlight is what usually wakes me up on weekends. I rolled over to check my phone to see if Camden tried to call or text me. No missed calls, but I did have a text message from him. I read it to myself, he had told his parents as soon as he got home. His parents had acted the same way as mine did. He told me how his parents said that he's gonna have to help raise it since it is his. He already told me how he was willing to take care of it because it's his baby too. I can tell that he's pretty excited that we'll have our own little family one day. I called him on my way downstairs to get me a bowl or cereal and a glass of milk. He had answered and it seemed like we talked forever! I'm pretty excited because I only have 2 months left till I go and have a ultrasound done to see what the gender the baby is gonna be. Once we go and have them done, then my parents said they'll start buying me some baby nursery stuff. They're gonna start saving more money up besides the money they already have so they can fix it up nice. I have applied for a part time job so I can have some money to buy stuff and raise it with. I'm just scared to go to school because I know once someone figures out then they're gonna tell someone else and it's just gonna go on and on and on. I despise people who pass around rumors! I will only be about 3 months pregnant at graduation! I'm ready to already have him/her in my arms! I can't wait till him/her gets here!
