One Piece Ships + A Lot Of Randomness.

Luffy x Nami

Okay, so this is like the most popular ship in One Piece. And I ship it.

I mean like who couldn't? These two will make the cutest couple ever.

Reasons why I think the ship will be cannon:

1. The hat:

So yes. The hat. Everyone knows that it's a major reason why most people ship these guys.

Even though the hat might be all torn and worn out, it means a great deal to Luffy.

He doesn't ever give it to anyone, well except Nami.

But there were times when Vivi and Usopp held onto it for him, but it wasn't like Luffy willingly gave it to them like he did with Nami, they just happened to pick it up.

It seems like he thinks the hat comforts Nami when she's sad, much like it did for him when he was younger, and he knows it's in good hands when it's with her.

He always depends on Nami to fix it for him, if something ever happened to it.

All in all, he knows he can trust her with his treasure.

2. Luffy's reaction to Nami's happiness punch:

Okay, so until this scene, we all thought Luffy wasn't interested in girls.

He reacted to Nami's body both the times, first being with Mr. 2's impersonation of Nami, and the second in the Royal bath of the Arabasta kingdom.

Which was something we did not expect.

But when it came to Hancock, the woman rumored to be most beautiful, well, no reaction.

Even though she's really beautiful.

People say it's because Usopp was an influence on Luffy's behavior, but how does that even happen?

Let's just hope Luffy really is attracted to Nami.

3. The Manga Cover Pages:

The above picture is the cover of the 699th chapter of One Piece.

In this cover, note that the crew is dressed as knights, while Luffy is the king, and Nami is his queen. ♥

In most covers of the manga, Luffy and Nami are shown together, sometimes with the other crew members.

And most times, Luffy is looking at Nami, or Nami at Luffy.

4. One Piece Movie: Strong World:

This movie is basically proof that LuNa will be cannon.

I mean, Nami sits on Luffy's shoulders like it's no big deal, while I almost died of fangirling.

And it's cute how Luffy got so pissed, thinking Nami didn't believe in his strength to save her.

"Sure, I got stuck in that sand thing, but that was because I was hungry.."

Cutest excuse ever.

If that wasn't enough, what got me more excited was when Sanji said it sounded like a love letter, and Nami said it was directed to Luffy.

And they went all badass with guns and fancy dressing, all to get Nami back.

(And lemme tell you, the way Luffy removed his jacket was sexy af.)

And their entrance was really cool with all breaking doors and shit, I mean seriously, did they like practice that or what?

5. The Hug:

See that? Nami hugged Luffy. Kyaaah~! LuNa forever~! ♥♥

Okay, that was gross. I should stop. 

Okay, this part was from chapter 806. And another fangirl moment.

His hug is another thing that comforts her besides the hat, and chapter 806 is proof for that. 

Another reason to believe LuNa will happen.
