#1~ Supposedly Alan Rickman, Hans Gruber, was taking this scene at least 20 feet above to actually be dropped on a protective airbag, in suit of Hans death. The stuntman would then drop him, trying to get an appropriate death from atop of a tower. To acquire a genuine look from Alan as he fell, the stuntman dropped him on the count of 2 instead of 3. So his scared/surprised little face here is all genuine!

#2~ Although he wanted to start a family and have kids of his own, he rejected the idea so as to respect his wife's decision in not wanting children.

#3~ According to an interview Alan had in 2012, he revealed that he absolutely adored birds! He loved the way they flew and flocked together. Oh, but birds are so cute though Q-Q
#4~ On the set of Die Hard, Alan had never actually shot a gun, so you can see him blink and grimace every time he fires.
