Prom is today. Sadly. Yes okay I'm going, but probably not for long.

I have a pink short dress which I'm obsessed with.

And Piper has a lime green dress, and Kessica sent me a picture of her ugly orange one.

"Only an hour away!"
Piper squeals as we sit in our room, Harvey playing with his 'magical' stuffed animal turtle O-Dee.

"I know!" I smile as I glance up at her.
She begins typing on her phone, probably to Paul, and I watch Harvey as he walks around the room pretending his turtle can fly.

The actual prom begins in one hour, so we're already putting our makeup on and such. I did Pipers makeup, cause I'm a makeup master, and then did mine after.

We decided to put on our dresses later since they probably won't be very comfortable.

"I can't believe I'm letting Kyle go with Kessica"
I sigh as I curl my hair.

"You haven't told him!? You said you were going to yesterday!"
She says loudly. Oh dang it. I did say I was going to when we were walking home from school.

"Shoot! I forgot!"
Good one, Norabella.
"Bell... You can't tell him now. He's literally eating dinner with her as we speak" she says in a stern voice. "I know I know! I'm so stupid."

I say rubbing forehead with my hand.
Someone knocks on the door. I put down my curler and stand up.

I open the door and Daniel walks in.
"Harvey!"
He says picking him up. Harvey giggles as Daniel tickles him for a second.

"Tis time for bed! I let you stay up longer then intended"
He chuckles. I look over at the clock.

9:32. Prom starts at 10. Little late, but nobody really cares.

"No beddy!" Harvey says, putting a pouting expression on his face.
"You aren't going to win this battle, kid" Piper says ruffling his hair.

Harvey giggles and whacks pipers hand with O-Dee.

"You girls look beautiful"
Daniel says smiling. "Thanks Danny Boy"

Piper says checking her make up in the mirror.
"Thank you, kind gent" I say, picking up the curler again after sitting down.

"Let's go, mister"
Daniel says 'booping' Harvey's nose.

They exit the room and he closes the door behind him.

"I love that toddler"
Piper says sitting down next to me.
"Me too" I murmur, curling a section of my hair.

"Don't let Kyle and Kessica drain your happiness"
Piper says looking at me through the mirror.

"They already have. I have a black soul and black heart" I say in a emotionless voice, sarcastically.

She rolls her eyes and I chuckle.
"Don't worry girl, I'm an independent white woman and I don't need no man"
I say, she scoffs and chuckles.

"Let me get the back of your head for you."
She says taking the curler from my hand. I don't argue I just let her do it.

I take out my phone and see some unread messages from Paul.

'I need help. I'm nervous.'

'Norabella please respond in trippin out over here'

'Gurl'

'Halo?'

'*hello?'

'I WILK NOT BE IGNORED'

'*Will'

I chuckle as I pass my phone to Piper to let her see when he's sent.

"He's such a dork" she giggles passing me my phone back.

"But so are you! So you guys work perfectly well together!"
I say sarcastically.

"I have a curler and I'm not afraid to burn you"
She sarcastically threatens. I put my hands up in surrender and go back to my phone.

'Calm down Paul. U have nothing to be worried about. Y'all are bestfriends you know she won't reject u or something'

He replies a few minutes later.

'Omg. I was talking about my bow tie. I can't get it to tie right. But thanks a lot now I'm worried about that too'

Oops.

'Lol srry. But don't trip Paul. Y'all are gonna be okie-dokie.'
I turn off my phone and look into the mirror and just stare at myself.

"Why wouldn't Kyle want all dis?"
I think to myself. I chuckle at my thoughts and let my thoughts wonder to other things.

This night is going to suck for me.
