Chapter 2

LIZ POV

The rest of the next 3 classes went by in a blur, it was my 4th period, so after the bell rang, it was time for lunch. "ELIZABETH!" the teacher yelled to try to get me out of my daze. I quickly snapped my head towards her and said "sorry". The bell rang after that. "Finally it's lunch" Maya said. I sighed then walked into the lunch room with Jacob and Maya by my side. When I first walked in there were tons of people yelling and screaming, I started to get panicky and anxious, Maya could tell that was happening because of my facial expression. She wrapped her arm around my shoulder and asked "You okay?". I responded with "Yeah, I'm fine". We sat down at a empty lunch table. Mid way through lunch we heard someone yelling and shouting. Maya and I turned our heads quickly to the direction of the shouts. It was the new boy, Noah, starting a fight. After a few minutes a teacher came in then took Noah into the principals. Then the boy he beat up was taken to the nurses office. I heard around school after lunch that Noah got suspended for 2 days, only because he had only been here one day and have already caused 3 fights. I wonder why he was like that, because I don't think anyone is just born that way. The 6th period bell rang and I walked up to Maya and Jacob when they were getting somethings for their next class. "Hey guys you all want to meet at Tina's Bakery later at 7?" I said to them. "Yeah sure!" they both said at the same time, then looked at eachother and laughed.  "Okay great, so I will see you then, bye!" I said, then left to go off to my photography class. I walked in then the teacher told me where I would be sitting. "Elizabeth, you will be sitting over by Blake. By the way I'm Ms.Smith" I walked over then said "Hi, I'm Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz". "Hi, Blake, you can call me Blake", I chuckled then sat down. "Okay, so I will be assigning partners for class, whoever is sitting to your right that will be your partner for the rest of the year, so be friendly!" the teacher said before she started writing stuff on the board. Everyone got confused about the whole partner thing so Ms.Smith wrote everyones partners on the board. I glanced over and saw my name "Elizabeth and Blake" she wrote. I turned over to Blake and said, "So we are gonna be partners", "Yep" he responded. I thought he was cute, when I was thinking I realized that I looked creepy beacuse for about a minute I was staring into his brown eyes. I turned my head away and smiled. (A/N PICTURE OF BLAKE ABOVE). The bell rang, then I walked off with a smile on my face and headed home to go change to go to Tina's Bakery later.
