Rixanne smirk "I know you'll come back. You're still afraid of your father"
I looked at her as I hold my temper
"Such a pity woman, you can go now"
"Thank you" I said and walk out. Damn bitch
Back at my office as I was doing some works, I heard a knock "Come in!" I said not taking my eyes off the computer
"Hey" A man's voice said
"Director Cormwell, what can I do to you?" I asked referring to the man in front of me, Renz Cormwell . He's the same age as me, a bachelor and a quite irritating suitor.
Renz put a cup of coffee on my desk "You should take a break" he said as he sat in one of my guest chair "I thought I'm not going to see you" he looked at me "I'm going to miss you"
I looked at him at the face "Thank you for the coffee, so will you get out?"
"You're always bitter towards me"
"If you have nothing important to tell me, will you stop bothering me? I still have work to do"
"Then, have dinner with me"
"What?"
"Dinner this evening"
"No" I refused
"Then, I will not leave until you agree"
"You're very irritating"
"Bitter"
"Alright, now please get out"
Renz smiled "Alright then, I'll pick you up at seven." he said
I sigh and go back to work.
A few minutes later, a call came up "Hello" I answered
"Ms. Rixanne on line 2, ma'am" my secretary said. What does that woman want now?
I took the call "Anielle here"
"Are you free this evening? I going to have a meeting with Mr. Milanov"
"I'm not. I have plans this evening" I said straight
"More important than Mr. Milanov? He's one of our biggest Russian clients"
"Is there an option?"
"Everyone has options"
"Then I can't go"
There was a second silence from her side "Very well" she said and cut off the phone
(Evening, Home)
"You're going out?" Alvin asked
"Yes, Renz invited me for dinner"
"Renz?" Alvin said "Director Cormwell?"
"Yes"
"This is new; you're going out in a date with a person you don't like"
"I guess I needed something new. I'm quite bored you know"
"You're one cruel person; you’re going to make that man cry"
"Shut up"
"That's why you can't have a lovelife. You're only thinking of your likelife"
"Stop giving me crap lessons." I looked at Alvin "Are you happy having a lovelife but not having the likelife you wanted"
"Don't switch the topic on me"
"Oh, looks like my ride is here" I said as I heard car stop
"Damn sister! Enjoy your dinner anyway!"
"Thank you"
(Dinner)
"You look wonderful today" Renz complimented
"Thank you"
"Wine?"
"Sure"
"Anyway, I'm sorry to drag you in a dinner although you're very busy"
"It's fine. Once in a life, I need to have a break especially when your boss is mad with you"
"I toss for that" Renz said as he lifts his cup
I smiled as I tossed back
"I wonder why Rixanne hated you that much."
"I really don't know, I'm doing my best in work and still she don't like it"
"If she's a man, I think she have something for you"
I laughed as I heard that "No way that it would happen" I said then I stop as I saw a familiar face not far from our table "Shit" I blurted as I found Rixanne
Renz looked to where I'm looking "Rixanne, what is she doing here?"
"She's having a meeting with one of our Russian client." I answered. This evening is ruined.
"Should we go?" Renz said
"You're already late" I said as Rixanne is already walking towards us.
"So this is more important" Rixanne said
"Good Evening Rixanne" Renz greeted
"Good evening Renz" Rixanne greeted back and looked at me "Mind joining us?"
"I'm with someone, you see"
"Renz, would you mind if I take Anielle this evening?" Rixanne said not taking her eyes off me
"Yeah. Sure." Renz said and stood up "I'll see you at the office tomorrow" he added and left
"Mr. Milanov is waiting"
"Hmm. Damn dinner" I said and walks with Rixanne
"Mr. Milanov, this is Anielle, Davinson's Director for Operations"
"Good evening" I greeted

"Seeing you getting out of the taxi means only one thing" Alvin said as he opened the door
"Why are you still awake?" I asked
"Rixanne called earlier, looking for dad."
"Damn bitch, what did she want now?"
"What happened?"
"Well, she drags me to a meeting with a client when she found me having dinner with Renz"
"Oh, that's why. A bit jealous I see"
"Alvin!"
"I was joking"
"Damn bitch" I said as I sat on the couch "She’s intruding in my personal life”
"Hey. Just forget about her"
"I hate her. I'm gonna tear her apart one day."
