Dear Somebody,
My friend once told me to always smile. That's why when we went to a restaurant and a kid looked at me and yelled "slut" a few times I just smiled at the kid and looked away. That's because he's right, but he still doesn't know anything about me. My friends told me I should have said something to the parents, but why should I when the father and mother didn't look disapproving at all. I wonder if the kid knew what it meant, if he actually didn't know, or if he heard his father say it. Anyway I just hope the kid understands one day what it actually means and maybe one day he'll figure out why all I did was smile and look away.
