I squealed and launched myself into his arms. “Danny!”
He spun me around in a circle as I giggled in his arms. “You haven’t changed a bit Baby.” He commented as he tried to set me down but I just wrapped my legs around his waist keeping myself attached to him.
“Now that’s not fair!” I complained. “I got my hair done, and look! My boobs grew in!” I pointed at them, not really paying attention to what I was saying due to my excitement.
“Rosalie, I don’t think you need to be pointing that out to any hormonal teen wolves.” Alpha Alex sighed as he walked out of his office to me.
“Hey Daddy A!” I ignored his small scolding.
“I see you’re getting yourself acquainted with our new neighbors.”
“What?” I turned to look at him from where I was still happily wrapped around Danny. “What neighbors?”
“Your fathers pack moved to our district so that you could train more comfortably. As soon as you are graduated and have settled in as the new Alpha they are moving back.”
“Oh hell naw!” I exclaimed.
Danny chuckled. “Still using the same lines I see.”
I pulled away from him, standing on the ground again. “You’re really pulling me into this already? I just learned about all of this yesterday!”
“Rosie, please just show them around the school and don’t get ‘Lost’ this time.”
“You get lost a few times and suddenly you have to go everywhere with a warning.” I grumbled.
“No you got lost about five times in the easiest areas. Don’t get lost.” He warned one last time before going back to his office.
“So you all probably already know that that old grump is the Alpha and our school principle. Oh something you might not be used to is that this school is huge compared to yours. It’s not like back in your pack. Here we are part of a small town, we have non shifters here as well as shifters. That means on your best behavior and no eating any of the other students. Any dolly, I need to run a real quick errand before I show you around.”
I led my group of boys to the library and went over to the schools very own Café. “I just need to make a quick coffee for our wonderful new Health teacher, Mr. French.” I pulled a dollar out of the purse at my hip and went behind the counter making a quick hot Cinnamon coffee for my teacher. I handed the coffee over to the young library T.A. “Hi dearie. Can you take this up to Mr. French and tell him that his future wife sent it for him?” I patted her hand and turned back to the boys. “So obviously this is our library. This is kind of like a hangout for students in the morning and during lunch. The café is run by students and sells almost as much as a Starbucks. Moving on.”
I grabbed Danny’s hand as I walked around the school showing them everything. It only took me about a half hour to show them around the school and once done I showed each of them to the class that they should be in for this block. The last person for me to drop off was Danny who I instead pulled into the library to talk.
“So tell me, my love. How has life been since I left Daddy’s dearest pack?” I asked sipping a decaf frappe.
“Boring. After you guys moved everything went quiet and boring. I had to find a new partner in crime.”
Back home, back at Dad’s pack, Danny and I had been best friends. We had constantly been in trouble back then. He was Bane and I was the Joker. He was the little kid that everyone knew would grow up to be a bad boy. I was the Alpha’s perfect daughter. I had been warned from the start not to hang around him. Being the total rule breaker and bad ass chick that I was, I hadn’t listened.
