I can't even fathom to think of where I'm going to be in ten years.
Ten years isn't even a long time and that terrifies, yet fascinates me.
I can remember exactly where I was ten years ago.
Ten years ago I was celebrating my seventh birthday. Mom and dad were still together but, I was so unaware of the biggest turning point about to happen in the following year.
Between then and now, I've been baptized, my parents have split up, I've lived in three different homes, I gained a beautiful step mom and a cool step dad, I gained three younger siblings who annoying me but I adore, I gained four older step siblings who I wish I talked to more, I've missed my mom a lot, I grew a strong relationship with my dad who I love more than life, I met Gracen in grade four and we became inseparable, I went from elementary school to middle school and met Kayley who I miss, but through her I met Logan who is a blessing, I went through some weird phases, I grew stronger in the gospel from my all time low, Ive been a leader, I got my patriarchal blessing, I got my learners on the second try and my divers on the first, I've accomplished so much.
I went to high school and met my two best friends; Dallas who I  adore and Dexter who makes me laugh and be happy.
I've fallen in love more than once, I've sobbed over deaths, I've cried tears of joy, Ive never felt so much happiness, I've felt emotions word can't even describe.
I don't know where I'll be in another ten years, but I would play this past ten all over again because even after the most significant turning point in my life, everything turned out just the way I would have hoped for. I am so blessed and thankful for the people who love me and are proud of me. Special shout out to my dad for loving me everyday and being so proud of me.
But I am here now. Seventeen and a dancing queen. 😉 Happy birthday me.
