The weeks passed by quickly, and soon it was the last week before spring break. Will and I were still the same, and he hadn't kissed me since the day of my birthday. I was dying for him to touch me again, though I would never admit it. It was a Saturday, and I dragged myself out of bed, at eleven o'clock. I got ready, and changed into tight jeans, and a hoodie. I walked downstairs, to see aunt Harriet, sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee. I took a seat beside her, and poured myself a cup.

"Good morning." She chirped cheerily.

"Morning." I yawned tiredly.

She set her cup down. "I have some news for you."

I perked up. "What is it?"

"Yesterday, Celine called me, and told me that her and Stephen are going to Mexico for spring break. She said that his work was giving them a very big discount, so they decided to take Jace, Will, and Cecily with them. Then they decided that they could invite a few people, so Celine asked if you wanted to come." Aunt Harriet explained. "Of course, I knew you would, so I told her yes. You leave on Saturday."

My mouth dropped to the floor. What? I was going on vacation with my best friends?

"Now Tessa, we need to have a talk about you being careful, and--" Aunt Harriet started.

"I'M GOING ON VACATION?!" I shouted excitedly, leaping up.

She chuckled. "Yes, but--"

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!!" I exclaimed, embracing her.

"Tessa, we need to talk about you being safe and careful." Aunt Harriet said.

That lead to a long lecture that I barely paid attention to. I was too excited to listen to anything. When aunt Harriet was done, I hugged her again, and then pulled out from my phone. There was a text from Cecily.

Cecily💙: Come to my house

I quickly said goodbye to aunt Harriet, and drove to Cecy's. I knocked on the door, and it was opened by Jace. He was dressed casually, and he grinned at me.

"I'm guessing you heard the news?" He grinned.

"Yup, I can't wait." I smiled.

Jace chuckled, and let me in. We both walked into the living room, where everyone sat. Clary, and Cecily were all sitting beside each other, Gabriel on the other side of Cecily. Isabelle sat with Simon, Alec on the other side of her. Finally, Will was sitting on another couch, and Jace took a seat beside him. Cecily bolted up, and embraced me.

"I'm so excited!" She exclaimed.

I laughed. "Me too."

I took a seat beside Clary, and we both shared a grin.

"How long are we going for?" I asked.

"A week." Will smirked, and I wasn't sure why.

Isabelle squealed. "It's going to be so fun! We should go shopping for clothes for the trip!"

All the boys groaned, as we dragged them to the mall. We got there within ten minutes, and straight away us four girls walked into "Forever 21" with the boys, who were sluggishly trailing behind us. Cecily grabbed a blue summery dress off the rack.

"Isn't this so nice?" She said.

"Yeah, you should get it." I said.

"It's a little short, don't you think?" Will raised an eyebrow at his sister.

Cecily scoffed and rolled her eyes. "You're not my dad, Will."

"Well, I don't want any boys trying stuff on you." Will narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, I know, you tell me everyday. You and Jace." She sighed.

Jace and Will smirked at each other, and Cecily only shook her head at them. She did that a lot, I'd noticed. I found two pairs of shorts I wanted, and while I was going through rack of clothes, I felt someone come up behind me.

"You should try those on." Will smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "Perv."

He laughed. "I was only joking, but if you want to, I won't stop you."

I hit him in the arm, and continued to look through the rack. "How come you aren't bothering Cecily?"

Will sighed dramatically. "I always do that. I thought I'd take a turn with you, now."

"I'm flattered." I spoke sarcastically.

"Glad to hear it." He smirked. "Besides, who wouldn't want to be around me?"

"Me." I stated, rolling my eyes.

"You're a horrible liar, Tess." Will grinned wildly. "You love it when I'm around."

"And why would you think that?" I questioned, reaching the end of the rack, and turning to face him.

"Because you want me." He said casually.

I laughed. "I do not want you."

"Sure you don't." He smirked. "I know you, Tessa. I know that you ache for me, even though you'd never admit it."

My cheeks heated. "You don't know that."

"Oh, but I do." Will moved so we were centimetres apart. "I can tell. Your heart beats faster when I enter the room, your skin tingles when I touch you."

My heart was beating so fast, that I thought he could hear it. "You're wrong."

"Am I?" Will looked amused. "Then why do you look so out of breath?"

To this, I had no comeback, and he smirked victoriously.

"You know I'm right, Tessa, you just can't admit it." He said.

"You're so arrogant." I breathed out.

"But you love it." Will smirked. "In some way, you know that you love it."

"Why are you doing this?" I asked, breathlessly.

"I told you I was going to annoy you, didn't I?" He raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "But you know the real reason why I'm doing this."

And with that, he walked away from me, leaving me completely out of breath. I stood there, stupidly, replaying our conversation in my head. What had he meant?
