*Day of disappearance*
*third person*
*flashback*
It was just a normal day for the group of 7 friends that consisted of Finn, Wyatt, Jaeden, Jack, Gwen, Ashton and Adelaide. They were all hanging out for Adelaide's birthday, she was turning 14 while the rest of her friends were 15. Her being the youngest out of them all, they would pick on her. They were just taking a walk when Wyatt spoke up about the woods that were on the other side of the street. "Have y'all heard the stories about those woods?" Wyatt spoke with a quite tone. "Yea, I heard that people who have gone in never came back out" Ashton piped in. "Guys, that is complete bull. Not true" Jaeden laughed. Adelaide was already starting to get scared, what do they mean 'never came back out'. "Oh but it is. 2008, 12 year old Alexander yansder was walking home when he dropped his basketball down the ditch just outside the tree line. When he went to retrieve it he seen something off in the distance that caught his eye. And you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat. When he went to investigate he never did come back out of the 'death' woods. Apparently there is a crazy lady that kidnaps kids as she isn't able to have any of her own, she is believed to be the one who took'em" Ashton said. "Guys can we not talk about this? It's freaking me out." Adelaide said, blushing from embarrassment as her friends looked at her and laughed. "Adelaide you don't actually believe that nonsense do you?" Jaeden asked whilst laughing. "Can we just walk back home? It's getting dark and I don't like it" Adelaide said, sounding as if she wanted to curl up in a ball and cry. "Adelaide, it's just a stupid story parents tell their kids so they won't wander off into the woods and get lost" Ashton said. "I don't care. Doesn't make the woods any less creepy, it's dark and I wanna leave" Adelaide spoke getting annoyed at her friends. "Addy, I dare you to go in the woods" Ashton spoke up. "No! Absolutely not!" Addy yelled. "Yea. I dare you to go deep enough in the woods till you can't see us and we can't see you, then when you turn around and come back out you'll know that it is just a stupid rumour. We will wait for you to come back out" Jack spoke. Adelaide was so scared but hid it with with a sassy "Fine. But if I die, I blame it on all of you" and stomping over to the tree line while her friends cheered. Adelaide turned back around and gave them a look as to say 'do I have to' to which Gwen replied with a "yes!". Addy turned around and began walking into the dense forest. As she got deeper and deeper into the forest her friends sat down watching as she got harder to see. "I don't like this one bit." Finn said, his gut was  telling him to yell for addy to come back and for them to head home. "She'll be fine Finn" Ashton scoffed. "We'll be right here when she comes back out" he added.

Adelaide was walking in the dark forest. It was at least 8:48 when they dared her to go in these stupid woods, and it has now been four minutes since she started her little 'journey'. She began to panic with her being scared of the dark and being claustrophobic. She was starting to hyperventilate when she tripped on a branch and hit her head, knocking herself out. She wasn't conscious for the many hours that she was being dragged over the rugged terrain, further and further away from her friends.

When she woke she wasn't outside anymore, she was on a bed, in a cabin. "Hello girlie" a woman spoke, entering the room with a tray of food. She was followed by two teens, one boy and one girl. The girl looked about Addie's age while the boy looked to be in his early 20's. "Who are you?" Addy spoke.
"We are your new family" the woman spoke.

"Where the hell is she?" Finn said, it was now 9:56 and they sent her in there an hour ago. "I don't know but I'm kinda worried" Jack said, earning agreements from his friends. Ashton just sat there staring at the woods waiting for his best friend to return, he was the one who dared her in there and he couldn't live with himself if anything were to happen to her because of it. Another hour passed, and another, and two more until it was 1:56am. They had all fell asleep on the ground
in front of the woods waiting for their friend to return, but she never did.

Hello!! First chapter to Traumatizing events, I am so excited for this story and I've got some things planned but for the most part I am just going with the flow. I've gotten a lot of inspiration to do a scary IT CAST fanfic from murdermuke's fanfic called Savagery. It is completely amazing and I would recommend you read it. I also got inspiration from traumatising's fanfic entitled Graveyard, it is absolutely outstanding. They are both very well written and keep you on your feet and keep you wanting to read more. I got my inspiration for this story from savagery mostly but I wanted to write a scary fanfic for a while after reading Graveyard but didn't know what to write about. So yea, definitely check those stories out!! I definitely think I'm going to start writing more scary stories as I like scary and dark things. I just find them a lot more interesting than your typical love story, which I totally dig when I'm in a sappy mood but my passion remains with thrilling and scary books. That's all for now, bye!
(Sorry for the long a/n, they aren't going to be this long in the future)
