Desert

I wonder in this red desert,

Trying to escape the hazard,
That caused me pain and misery,
and placed my soul in slavery.
 Demons me they quickly chase,
While tears trickle down my scared face,
and I hear laughs and see their sneers.
They chase me , to feed on my fear.
But, Lord, You come to my aid,
To make my pain and sorrow fade,
To bestow on me Love and Peace,
and cover me with Divine fleece.
The demons do not dare come near,
From You, oh Mighty Lord they fear,
and all of them retreat back,
To a place filled with hate and black.
