CHAPTER 6

MAINE's POV

"Mom wake up now" I feel like my world's shaking. "Mom!" the shaking continues then I found out it was our son tryin' to wake me up.
"Let your Mom sleep first Seth Gab" it was Rj. I tried to open my eyes but my eyelids just feel so heavy.
"But Dad she promised me that we'll go to the park today" Seth Gab said. By the sound of his voice, I know that he's on the verge of crying now.
Kahit inaantok pa ako, pinilit kong idilat ang aking mata.
"Good morning" I greeted them. There I found RJ standing at the back of our door and our son was at the corner at di maipinta ang mukha.
"Hey what's the matter?" I asked our son as I slowly sit on the bed. But then, there was no reply from him. Instead he just looked down. Napatingin naman ako kay RJ na ngayon ay katabi ko na.
"Come here 'lil man"
Lumapit naman siya sa akin. Tska umiiyak na yumakap sa akin. Oh, my little binata cry baby pa rin. I smile at that thought.

"Nak kasi Mommy's tired. Let her rest first. She just got home few hours ago" Rj tried to explain to him. I had my photoshoot kasi for a magazine cover. 3am na nag-pack up plus it took us 30 minutes of travel going home. Buti na lang RJ was there to fetch me. By now it's just 6:30am, way too early for me. Bc of what his Daddy had said lalo lang humigpit ang yakap nya sa akin at maririnig mo pa ang hikbi niya.
"Seth" RJ in his warning tone. He was just tryin' to say something but I cut him off. Worry was written in his face.
I mouthed him that I can manage this.
"Seth Gab look at Mommy" I said pero di pa rin siya kumikilos. "Seth Gab I said look at Mommy" unti-unti naman siyang tumingin sa akin but still nakayakap pa rin sa bewang ko. Basa ng luha at pawis ang mukha niya kaya pinahid ko muna 'yun at tska ko siya kiniss sa lips nya.
"You that Mom just got home from work right?" I started off. Tumango naman siya bilang sagot. "We'll go to the park some other time na lang. Now, can you let Mom have her rest first then after that we'll go to the mall na lang and we'll play arcade. Is that okay with you?" I tried explaining to him. Good thing na very understanding naman siya tska hindi siya mahirap pakiusapan. With that, napapayag ko rin siya.

"Come on 'lil man, let's go play outside muna" sabi ni RJ. Sumama naman sa kanya ang anak. Kinarga nya ito dahil naglalambing pa rin.
"Love, we'll go outside muna ha. Take your rest." He said then he planted a kiss on my lips. "Good night to you" he told me as they made their way out before he closed the door.
After a while nakatulog na rin ako dala na rin ng pagod.

Around 1pm na ng magising ako. Una kong hinanap ang mag-ama ko. Pababa pa lang ako ng hagdan, natanaw ko na sila sa may garden kaya agad ko itong tinungo. Masaya silang naglalaro sa gilid ng pool at dun ko lang napansin na naka-trunks sila pareho. I can hear them giggle at each other. Pinanuod ko lang sila sa isang sulok making sure na di nila ako agad mapapansin. This moment is just so precious. I instantly get my phone in my pocket then took some shots of them. I don't wanna be selfish kaya inupload ko sa Instagram ung isa sa mga picture na kinuhanan ko. Tska I wanna show the world and the bashers how lucky I am to have these two. "Waking up to this view. I love you both".

After I uploaded it, bumalik ako sa room namin to changed my clothes. I'm now wearing a red bikini and a white cover up. I take a look at myself from the mirror. Contented with what I saw, I make my way to my boys.

"Hey! Can I join?" I said tryin' to get their attention. Right now, nakatayo lang ako sa gilid ng pool.
"Mommy!" masiglang bati ni SethGab sa akin. Umahon siya sa pool at niyakap ako sa bewang kaya nabasa ang cover up ko.
"Love" sabi rin ni RJ sa akin ng hindi lumalapit. Instead, tinitigan nya lang ako from the middle of the pool where he was.
"Yes Love? Can I join? Mukhang nagkakatuwaan kayo ah" I said as I removed my cover up dahil basa na rin ito. But still, he just keep on staring at me. "Huy! Ano ba Mr. Faulkerson, tititigan mo lang ba ako? Di ka man lang ba lalapit sa akin?" The next thing I knew, he was already at my back, hugging me so tight.
"Love why do you have to be so hot?" he whispered to my ear that made me flinch.
"See this?" I motioned my body closer to him as I faced him. We're now hugging each other. "All yours!" I whispered back at him. He then make a quick note and kiss me on the lips for a few seconds.
"You were asking me a while ago if you can join diba?" he asked, still hugging me.
"Yep"
"What if I say no?" I was taken a back with what he said at napakunot ang noo ko.
"Why?"
"Let's go to our room na lang!" he commanded
"Such a tease. It was inviting though" I said as I slowly traced his lips "Pero baka nakakalimutan mo, may atraso pa ako sa anak mo" I told him then tinalikuran ko na siya sabay dive sa pool papunta kay SethGab. Ng lingunin ko sya napapakamot sya sa ulo nya. I laughed way too hard with what he did and in a snap, he's already beside us.

We decided not to go to the mall since ayaw na rin naman ng anak namin. He suggest that we should spend the whole afternoon by swimming na lang. Also, we made plans na rin para sa birthday celebration nya which is by next week. We made some arrangements according to what the celebrant likes. I hope he gets to enjoy his birthday. But first, let me thank God and savor this wonderful day beside the man and 'lil kiddo I love the most.
