Elodia's POV

I was in my room looking at the picture me and Gerard took. We were kissing in the picture. Around us was the park. We had a picnic.

I was staring at it when I heard a knock on my door. I quickly hid the photo under my pillow.

"Come in." I mumbled.

"Mom? Can I talk to you?"

"Sure honey."

"Umm so I was gonna make some nutella brownies when I heard you talking to someone on the phone."

Oh no.

"I heard everything mom. How did you get Gerard's number mom? How do you know him? I know that this question is awkward but is Gerard my dad?"

I can't hide it from her.

Fuck it, I'm telling her.

"Yes Alyssa..."

"So he was the.. Person that.. Cheated on... You?"

I nodded my head.

I looked at her carefully when I saw tears in her eyes.

"Elodia I-" I was cut off of her.

"No mom its okay.. I'm going to my room." She said then ran to her room.

She heard everything. She knows her dad is Gerard.
