M I K E Y

The whole club house is on lockdown, Sin isn't taking any chances to put anyone in danger. Children, females and ol'ladies are in the basement and not allowed to come up until everything is clear and safe. After that incident club members still patrol the woods along protecting outside of the club house, I thanked Reaper for saving my life and glad he is okay.

"What I want to know if why that f*cker only shot in your room" said Sin. Watching Kevin lean against the wall with a frown on his face, staring at his scar he has a story to tell, secrets he wish to not reveal, I need to know what happen to him.

"Don't know who would it be so don't bother asking me" said Reaper. Why would someone shoot at Reaper and I, why is that person only targeting us? Stone held me close trying to calm me, I didn't realise I was trembling. I blocked out the conversation, the only sound I could hear was gun shots and shattered glass. Old memories flash before me, I clench onto Stone's vest afraid to let go.

"Let's just talk about this tomorrow, it's been a rough day" said Kevin as he stared at me, confusion linger within his gaze. I knew everyone notice my short panic attack, the sudden attack bought back memories I am trying to forget but it always comes back to haunt me, I consider it a punishment.

"Leon, Kevin and I will be on look out, already have our men patrolling outside. Reaper and Stone get some rest, I want you three in the basement. Matteo and the others are already been notified, please keep eye on Jones, Fernando and our kids" said Sin. Reaper and Stone nodded in response, making our way to the basement I looked behind me watching Kevin walked away. Entering the basement, Fernando hugged me tight catching me by surprise, he looking around my body making sure I am not injured.

"Did they catch whoever shot in the bedroom?" asked Jones.

"No signs of he/she but for now we aren't taking any chances" Reaper replied. Didn't like staying in the basement, Sin put couches, televisions, bunk beds and a small children play pen to keep them entertained and also a bathroom. The only thing it's lacking is windows, can't wait to get out of here. This lasted for about a week, Sin wasn't taking any chances and sadly they couldn't find the shooter.

"Feel like I am a prisoner in this hell hole" I said.

"Sin said this should only last a week, it's for our safety" Reaper replied. I oddly find myself cling to either Stone or Reaper, after last week events I still couldn't keep it out of my mind. Memories I wish to forget always manages to come back, I tried so hard to forget and move on.

"Yeah well I need some fresh air" I said. Hearing the sounds of the metal door open, Sin and Leon enter walking towards us. Sin smiled as Rose squealed walking towards her father, he picked up his baby girl kissing her cheek.

"Can we leave now?" asked Jones. Leon picked up Jacob, with Rose being so energetic Jacob gets tried when he's playing with her. Sin announced the threat is over and everyone can leave the basement, he assured them they're safe and have nothing to fear.

"Mikey come to my office" said Sin. I nodded glancing back at Reaper and Stone, I felt the need to be back in their arms. They both stared at me like I am their prey ready to attack, something within me stirred letting out a whimper. What the hell am I doing? This isn't me, I looked away not wanting to meet their gaze, every time they stare at me I always felt trapped. Entering Calvin's office, I closed the door shut, stand there patiently waiting for him to talk first.

"Is there anyone I should know about who wants you dead?" he asked. It's not a surprise that he's known what I use to do, Fernando and I were partners in crime. Only listening to commands in order to survive in the mafia world.

"Perhaps, it doesn't surprise me if someone tries to kill me. It's not the first time but that was a long time ago, it's been a while since someone wanting my blood in their hands" I replied

"How long ago?" he asked.

"About five years ago I think, I was still working for Matteo and Luca at the time" I replied.

"Think carefully Mikey, no one shoots are someone in this city for the heck of it. I know what you use to do would have lots of enemies, now the questions is ... who?" Sin says.

"I dealt with those who tried to kill me and obviously didn't succeed, I told you it's been years since someone tried anything" I replied.
