Discovery

I came to consciousness, but kept my eyes closed as usual, always tired after waking up. My memory kicked in, recollection of the night before and it's strangeness. Along with that came the realization of breathing in front of me and arms wrapped around my not-very-slim waist.

I fluttered open my eyes to a guy with dim grey shaggy hair. I blushed at our close proximity, and he must've felt my heat, because his own eyes opened. He smiled wide and cheerfully said "Good morning, my sweet! How was your rest?"

I backed away slightly in confusion. "Who..are you..?" My eyes drifted down, and I squealed as I noticed he wasn't wearing any clothes. I covered my eyes with a red face, and he got up off the bed frantically. Opening of drawers and shifting of fabric could be heard, and after a while I heard him say "Sorry about that. I'm clothed now; you don't have to be afraid."

I immediately uncovered my palms, protesting "I am not afraid! It would be unusual to anyone to have an unclothed, unknown man lying next to them. If anything, a normal person would scream and put up a fight. You're lucky I'm not a normal person."

He had a black t-shirt that was torn in some places along with highly ripped jeans. (www.polyvore.com/wild_hunter/set?id=192251406) "At least tell me who you are." Sitting at the edge of the bed, I folded my right leg over the other while crossing my arms.

"Well, my name is Lance." He grabbed the chair in the corner, sitting in it with the back as support for his arms and legs spread around it. I nodded in response. "I'm Brielle. I have a few questions; first, where did the wolf go? If you happen to know anything about him."

Lance rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, you see, this might sound crazy...but..I am the wolf."

I started processing the information. "Wait, was last night the full moon?" "Yea, I'm guessing with your intelligence you've already figured it out, huh?"

I rested my elbows on my leg, placing my chin in the nook of my thumb and index as I fully contemplated the situation. His head tilted once more. "Are you okay?"

"Yea, I have just never came into contact with an actual werewolf. I'm honestly honored." He smiled once again. This time I noticed little fangs in the place of his upper and lower canines. "Such a compliment coming from a beauty like you means a lot." My cheeks stained pink once more, and I moved my legs so they were horizontal and tight against one another along with my hands, pressed down on the knees.

Filling my plump cheeks with air, then exhaling, I asked "So, why would such a rare creature want anything to do with me?" He got up from the chair and sat down next to me. "Well, it's that time of year;" he put his hand at my side and leaned close.

I tried moving back, but his strong hand held my back and my body in place. "I've finally found you. Now–" grabbing my chin, he brought his lips dangerously close to mine. "We must mate."

So many different thoughts were running, feeling as if they were doing a marathon, through my mind as his lips pressed hardly against mine. I pushed him away from me and stood up. Making hand gestures as I went, I started my rant.

"Hold up! Hold up!! Hold everything! Back the truck up, hold the hell up!! I cannot mate! I'm only in my early 20's! I can't be mating this early in life! For all I know, I could live to be a hundred, and if that were true, I've only lived a quarter of my life; no, not even! We're not married, and I refuse to lose my virginity before marriage! On that notion, we don't even know each other! The list of defects go on!!"

He stood up and reached out to me. "Bu–"

"I'm sorry, but I cannot fulfill your desires. Now, I appreciate your time and effort." I grabbed my items I had set on the table. "And you will just have to find someone more willing to do this for you. Someone better, and more desirable." Opening the door, I plainly stated "Bye" and took my leave.
