A few months later: kilis pov
I woke to the smell of something cooking so I sat up, looked at the door to only hear Bilbo say
"Breakfast is ready kili"
As he said that I stood up, walked over to the door and opened it to only hear myself say
"Ok I'm on my way"
With that I walked out and looked around to only remember the night we all sat at the dining room table and talked about the quest and as I did I took a deep breath, walked in to only see Bilbo sitting at the table so I sat down in front of him and started eating what was on my lap to only see the image of Y/N run through my mind wishing she was here with me, wishing i married her and not the princess of iron hill.
Your pov
You walked out of the room to only hear your friend say
"You still love him"
As she said that you looked at her to only feel your heart break a little so you sighed to only hear yourself say
"He is a King it wouldn't have worked out between us"
"But he proposed to you doesn't that mean anything"
As she said that you sighed then said
"I love him grace I do but he is with the princess of iron hill now and probably has kids so please don't try and get me back with him"
As you said that you walked to the door to only hear grace say
"Where you going"
"For a walk"
With that you opened the front door then walked out to only see the image of kili run through your head so you sighed, walked down the stairs of the hobbit home and walked to the lake.
Kilis pov
I walked to the door to only hear myself say
"Hey Bilbo I'm gonna go for a walk ok, don't know when I'll be back"
"Ok bye have fun"
With that I put my coat on then walked out and made my way to the lake wishing Y/N was with me.
A few hours later: your pov
You sat at the lake looking at your reflection in the water to only hear a stick break behind you so you stood up and looked behind you to see the person you thought you never see again so you sighed to only feel your eyes water up and to only hear yourself say
"Kili"
With that he moved closer to you then said
"Y/N".
