Chapter 1: The book

It just happened. I dont know why it happened, it just did. It was scary and comforting in the same time . I can change the story for the better. I can change the story so that WE WILL KILL ALL TITANS.

.......A Few Years Ago........

A 10 year old girl passed the coffee shop with her mom.

Clarisse POV :

"Mom," I said," Am I really adopted....cause you and dad kind of look like me. You have brown hair and dad has green eyes."

" Yes I am sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I just thought it would be hard for you to take in, after all I did treat you like my own." Mom says frowning," I just thought if I told you that you would want to find your real parents and won't love me anymore."

"Hey. don't think like that. You and dad are the ones who raised me, I should be thankful to have such wonderful parents," I said smiling at Mom.

We were walking to a donut shop after a day of shopping. I do want to know who my real parents are and if I do have any siblings. I want to ask mom but I don't want to make her feel bad and that she will start to think I don't care about her anymore cause I still do.

" Hey sweetie, do you want to go to the book shop," Mom said as she stopped.

"SURE," I exclaimed.

I love books, movies, TV shows, and mom said that I could start reading manga soon. EEEEEE! I am so excited.

There is one manga that caught my eyes it was call Shingeki no Kyojin or Attack on Titan. I grabbed it from the shelve and went to mom. I asked for the manga I knew it would be a bloody one but something about this book makes me want to investigate it.

Mom let me get the manga. When we went home I went home I went to my room and started reading. Eren ....... That name sounds so familiar . I kept reading until dinner It was okay it is a Saturday.

"Dinner," Mom said.

"I am coming," I said.

I went down the stairs and ate my favorite food spaghetti. I ate my dinner quickly so I can continue reading the manga. Before I went to my bedroom, my parents told me to have a little break from my manga. I quietly obeyed and took my phone and laptop with me so when I woke up in the morning I would start my homework. I know I am too young to have my own phone and laptop and tablet but I earned it last year.

"Clarisse you need to go to the principle's office," said my fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Ronell, after answering the phone in the room.

"Ok," I said cheerfully. It was getting boring, English isn't my thing.

I knocked the door. The principle let me enter. I was scared to see my mom and dad in the room too.

"Clarisse Cruise, are you well aware that you have the highest grade in your class," the principle said with his stern eyes looking at me.

" Yes Mr. Shaffer," I answered.

"But did you know you have the highest grade for our school," he said still staring at me.

I shook my head. I was surprised. Am I that smart even for English.

" Well you have a choice of going to Middle School now for the 6th grade, or you can choose to stay in fourth grade and continue with your regular classes.

" I want to stay in fourth grade," I said quickly. I was sure to be bullied in Middle school for being a nerd or being a 9 year old. Plus I have friends I can't just leave them behind.

"Ok, you look sure about your decision," he said as he wrote something down on a paper.

Mom and Dad seemed a little upset on my decision but they were still proud of me. They decided to get me a phone, laptop, and tablet.

I put my phone in my pocket then I hugged my stuffed rabbit and drifted off to sleep.🌜
