~Give It Time~

Justin Pov

It had been 2 weeks since Leah was diagnosed with amnesia. the good news was that the Dr.s said it was temporary and would not last beyond 6-8 months. but that's bullshit a lot can happen during that time.

I was happy though because today was the day I could bring my baby home FINALLY! I had stopped by Quincy n Kayla's house on my way to the hospital to pick them up.

The Dr. said her memory could return quicker through triggers of things that are familiar to her. we got to the hospital, signed in then went to her room. she was already dressed up and ready to go. so we got her stuff and headed out.

(IN THE CAR)

Justin-(looking over at Leah) "soo...how you feeling bae" 

Leah-"I'm good, but can you call me Leah?" 

Justin-(clentching stairing wheel) "umm..yeah ba- I mean Leah" 

Kayla-(backseat) "so Leah, what do you remember?" 

Quincy-(next to Kayla) "yeah!" 

Leah-"I remember everything up to when I went on the winter resort in highschool with my boo Diggy."(smiling) 

Kayla-"soo...you don't remember when you met Justin, or-OMG, please tell me you remember college?!" 

Leah-(thinking) "UCLA right?" 

Kayla-"YES!, see you do remember stuff" 

Leah-(sighs) "nooo, I remember that only because I used to talk about it all the time in highschool...and no I don't remember meeting Justin" 

Kayla-"don't worry it will come back to you, just give it time" (rubbing Leahs back) 

Leah-"I guess"

That car ride was getting a little uncomfortable for me. I was so glad when we finally got to the house. I gave Leah, the house keys and told Kayla to go in with her and that me and quincy would be back.

Quincy Pov

I was at the bar with my lil bro Justin. he needed to blow off some steam and needed someone to talk to, I didn't blame him tho.

Quincy-(patting Justins back) "keep ya head bro, its just one of those tests you have to go through as a couple ya know" 

Justin-(sighs) "I just don't know what to do man, I can't be mad at her because its not her fault she doesn't remember, but then I can't sit back and let that nigga swoop my girl up. (puts hands on head) 

Quincy-"you talk to dad yet?" 

Justin-(chuckling) "yeah right, you know it's hi and bye with that nigga" 

Quincy-"true, but I bet ya mom's can help you out" 

Justin-"nahh man imma just keep an eye on her 24/7 and wait it out. ain't no way she leaving my eyesight again!" 

Quincy-(sighs) "look bro I know you love that girl like crazy but...she is not a dog dude she can't stay locked up in da crib all day" 

Justin-"she doesn't have to she can go out, as long as I'm with her....speaking of which I gotta get back"(pays the bill and heads back to the house) 

I walk in the house and its dead silent, I call out for Leah but she doesn't answer. I look on the table and see that Kayla left a note saying she went to the store and that Leah was upstairs asleep.

I sighed and went upstairs and walked into our room to see it empty. I frowned then walked into the guest bedroom to find Leah sleeping peacefully on her side. I walked over to her and kneeled down to her level.

Damn she was beautiful, I studied her features and thought about everything we had went through as a couple. I sighed the noticed her ring finger was empty and the hospital incident came running back into my head.

I shook my head and picked her up bridal style. I looked down to make sure she was still asleep, which she was...her boobs were on full display because of the white beater she had on. I sulked knowing I wouldn't be getting any from her anytime soon as I laid her down on our bed. I tucked her in then kissed her forhead before walking out.
