Ch.5

I'm going on a date with Derek! I can't believe it. I gotta go get ready! He said to dress casual so let's see what I can find.
I dug through my closet and settled on a black and white striped crop top, high-waisted blue skinny jeans with holes in the knees and adidas classics. With a side purse.
I decided this outfit was to amazing to not take a picture of so I took a picture of it.

Once I was done I grabbed my phone and charger and put them in purse along with my wallet.
Once I was done I heard a knock on my door, probably Derek.
"I'm coming!" I yelled

Once I got down stairs I opened up the door. Let me tell you Derek looked hot!
   "Hey lil' mama you ready?" 
  "Yep lets go."
  So we went to go into Derek's car and left. I turned the radio on and Derek's song was playing!
  "DEREK! YOUR SONG IS PLAYING!"
  "I know that's great!" He said.
  I turned the music up and starting saying the words to it.
  " She don't need a man independent and she know it gotta pay the bills she don't care how she do it convince em with the words she soundin' like a poet I love her confidence and I lov the way she show, the way she show it."
  "Damn girl you can do that better than I can."
"PFT! No I can't you're just saying that." I was clearly blushing too.
  "No I'm dead serious. You need to come to the studio with me sometime you could be on a track with me." He said.
  "Okay sure."  After that we were quiet... Well until I broke the silence.
  "So.... where are we going?"
"It's a surprise."
"You just gotta go all cheesy on me don't ya."
"Sorry babe."
We were probably about 45 minutes from home.
  "Are we almost there?" I asked.
"Soon just a couple more minutes."
After about 15 minutes we arrived to this beautiful lake.
"Woah... This is soooo pretty! How did you find this?"
  "I had some free time."
While I was starring in amazement Derek got a picnic basket and planner out of the trunk.

He sat the blanket and basket on the wooden dock thingy and grabbed another bag out of the trunk along with a decent sized cooler.
"Ok let's set down and eat first because I'm hungry!" Derek exclaimed exactly what I was thinking.
"That's fine by me."
Derek reached into the basket and you'd expect sandwiches wrapped in cling wrap.... Well, he pulled out Chipotle.
"I suck at making stuff so I got Chipotle. I hope that's ok with you."
"That's perfectly fine with me I love Chipotle."
"Great!"
So we sat and ate while asking each other questions. Once we finished Derek put the trash into the basket and put it into his trunk.
"Here I got you a bathing suit because we're going swimming." He pulled out one of those triangle type bikinis that was neon yellow and neon pink.
"Where am I supposed to change?" I asked.
"Change behind the car. No one will see you we're in the middle of nowhere and nobody ever comes out here except for me. I promise I won't look."
"Fine." I went behind the car to change into the bikini while Derek just took his pants off , he still had his boxers on, and put on his swim trunks.
  Once I was done I came out from behind the car.
  "Damn Mami I did good." Derek said walking up to me.
  "Come on let's go swimming!" I exclaimed.
"Ok ok I'm coming."  I jumped in first and then Derek jumped in.
  We were in there all day until like 12 a.m.
"Ok we should probably leave you look a little cold." Derek said.
    "Okay. L-lets g-g-go." I stuttered because I was cold.
  "Here." Derek handed me his sweatshirt that he wears all the time so it smells like him which smells good.
  "I hope you know you're not getting this back." I said.
  "It's all good I can buy another one."
"Okay come on I'm cold and I wanna get into the warmth."
  We went to the car that's heated up because Derek already started the car.
  On our way home Derek managed to get his hand on my thigh. He didn't make anything of it and neither did I. We reached my house way to soon and I didn't want to. Now everyone's gonna ask questions and such.
  "Thank God you're staying with us because I really didn't want you to leave. Not to mention you also are staying in my room. That's great." I exclaimed.
   "Yep. Now let's go up to you're room. I doubt anyone's up. They all have to go to the studio tomorrow at 7. Ha suckers! I don't have to go till 12 and you're coming with me."
   I was to tired to respond. Derek got out of the car and came over to my side.
  "Here hop on my back I'll carry you to your room."
  I definitely wasn't going to argue with that so I hopped onto his back. We got inside and what do you know everyone is still up.
  "Hey guys how was you're date?" My brother asked wiggling his eyebrows.
   "Keep it down guys she's sleeping. I'm gonna go take her upstairs and then go to bed. You guys should go to bed too. You know you're supposed to be at the studio by 7." Derek said and took me upstairs.
  " I wasn't even sleeping Derek."
  "I know I just didn't feel like talking to them." Derek said.
  "Ok. Now come on." I said patting the space of bed beside me.
  "Hold on let me put my joggers on quick." Derek said as he was tying the strings on his joggers.
   "Okay." Derek finished.
  He crawled into the space beside me.
"I really like you." I whispered.
"I like you too." He whispered back.
  "Good."
  "Will you be my girlfriend?" He whisper asked.
  "Of course." I said and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
