Chapter 18: This is Real

I woke up hoping that,

Everything I knew was a bad dream

My mother coming over

Me passing out

Mamma Q gone.

All that was fake

I looked around in the hospital room

I was alone,

Yeah it was real.

A nurse comes in

Nurse Jesse from last time

"How you doing baby love?"

I saw her soft face and cried all over again and she held me

"It was all a dream, right? Lance? Where is he?"

"The tall one?"

I nod and she smiles

"He came in and spoke to the baby and said he'll be here to pick you up and take you home later."

I nod and cry even more

Nurse Jesse comforts me and tells me that Lance will be back

And how sweet he was

I guess that made me feel a little better

But I still had a hole in my chest

Just then Lance comes in with AnnaLisa sleeping on his shoulder

I just started at Lance who had a blank face

He leaned down and kissed my lips hard
